I had doubt in my new searchform.php tailored to use Google search after seeing the comparison you pasted.

I tried these:

• Adding the action command in the call, which I thought was redundant for the Google case but is present in the original theme form.
• Deactivating my own form so defaulting to the theme’s original form.

In both cases, both Chrome and Firefox are still not responding. Still no idea what is going on. Don’t even have a way to check it.

Extremely desperate. We have to jump theme if a solution is not coming up soon enough.

Thank you @bensonmanje, that works for us. I think this is an issue that the WP team should be properly addressing. BTW, we are hosted with SiteGround. So I guess it is not a host specific issue but rather how WP re-write that object-cache.php file.

I think it is not about the Google script, it has to do with the theme’s script for firing the appearing of the search box

I don’t even know how else to find out what is causing the error.

We are not getting any feedback yet. Hopefully soon.

I wonder why it works for me in all other browsers except FF. Checked error log, nothing related showing.

The error message is gone after updates. It seems to me it was a conflict with the favicon plugin. We are not sure though. Maybe it was just the cache lagging to show this plugin, it was perhaps your update harmonises with WP better now.

@noaneo, thx for your response. We have found out that it was actually a line that we have created in the css to { display: none; } the secondary menu. Our own fault.

Thanks for following up. We were able to spend only little time in doing this. Will do the numerous recent updates and see if the problem persist and let you know.

We know css very well. No need to rely on many of those silly plugins. It is the way your software is structured that limits what modification through css and functions and even hacking php useless to achieve desirable effects.

There really is no need to post our problems in your forums, since our problems are not unique. Many people with similar problem have posted. You and your friends have not been able to give any real solutions.

I did not want to waste any more time in this plugin to respond to this, but really want to set the record straight so as to advise other people not to get into the same difficult situation we are in.

Didn’t mean to rush you Rahul. I know how complicated it is for setting up a system to import something as truncated as a bbPress database. We are not in a big big rush either. A lot of other things are developing and needing our attention. Just need to have a timeline to plan things right. Have sent you an email.

We are still without Twitter. Will post at your own forum later today with details.

The error is still there. I have just upgraded WPSSO UM hoping that it will help. Didn’t.
