I very much second this! I’d love to see previous versions as this would definitely have saved some time with the issues that came up as a result of an update.

Might be an issue with the theme or cache, revert/clear and see if that works.

You need to edit CSS, this requires custom code and you will need to hire a freelancer or a coder to do it.

It’d be helpfull if got a list of all the plugins you use, most likely a cache issue but need more information.

The plugin only recognizes what’s inside a post from my understanding. All custom taxonomies and blocks are outside of the word count recognition. Don’t worry about it though, the only word count that matters is the one that Google does and it will be able to read yours anyways.

1. W3TC – get an installation guide and setup according
2. Setup CDN
3. Optimize images

That should give you a good boost. Servers matter too, but unless you are getting serious traffic stick to shared.

The developer tried adding Jquery mobile to the header but that breaks the theme.

Replicate? The problem is defined in the first post. The button is not clickable on iOs and iPhones. Instead of triggering the button action, the click on an iPhone is zooming in and out.

Are you using cPanel or just free wordpress hosting?
