In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Plugin conflictTobias,
Thatnks for the update. This makes sense. In response I have
- Updated the plugin to v3.0.1
- Edidted the CSS in plugin options (CSS appended).
- Created a test page https://respiceprospice.co.uk/tablepress-test In edit mode this seems to aligh columns as requested. But when rendered both colums default to centered.
Thanks Paul

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Plugin conflictThank you for your prompt reply. I detected this problem for the first time yesterday.
It is the presence of the TablePress plugin that affects the stand WordPress Table block https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/table-block/.
With V3.0.1 the alignment button does nothing and the table alignments are left-aligned whicl rendered display is center-aligned. With V3.0.0 the edit scree shows centrer-aligned and the rendered scree is left-aligned. For V2.4.4 both edit and rendered pages show center-aligned.
Yesterday I updgraded tablePress to v3.0.1 and deactivated the deprecated TablePress Extensions.
If I deactivate TablePress completely the Table Block works OK.
Regards, Paul

I understand the brick image solution so will attempt this. But you can close the ticket.
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your time.
Paul
Actually I’d like to keep this open. I can see that the “inline image” option allows me to place a brick image in each cell, albeit with so odd spacing side effects. But how then to place a name & URL link onto each brick? Does this need a background image for each cell which is what my original question suggested.
Thanks Paul
Sanjeev,
Thanks for your reply. The “From Email” was set correctly and using “Force From Email” also failed. I was able to send test emails correctly.
However using Domain Authentication did make things come to life.
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Ceased working after upgradeHarish,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I omitted to mention that I had already inspected the logs and no error were reported. Subsequently I visited the Mailchimp account to double check API settings and other stuff. I also double-checked the WP settings. For no apparent reason the form has started working. I’m sure that I didn’t change anything so if must be the WP Fairies!
Thanks for your offer of help.
Sincerely, Paul

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] Indexing text for YeostThanks for your prompt update. To be honest I was struggling to see how Relevanssi could help but I was strongly advised that this was the case.

In reply to: Intermittent failures “localhost refused to connect”I have discovered that the connection error does not happen provided that WebMatrix remains active. I can’t see why this should be the case but as a workaround it does the trick.
I deleted all and started again. For some unexplained reason it now works just right.
Issue closed.
I should have pointed out that the failing page is here https://www.ethnocast.net/wordpress/services/ethnic-markets/uk-ethnic-markets-ethnic-markets-we-reach/
The red images popup OK whilst the pie chart and house images don’t, yet both have the same settings.
