In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Best than LearnDashThank you @avillanueva for taking the time to leave the review, and we are happy to hear that the Interactive Blocks is working well for you!
You should be able to add bbPress forums in any lesson or on any page within Sensei – I know we have some users with bbPress forums in their courses. You can just add the shortcodes for the forum as a shortcode block. We’d be happy to help if you get stuck or are looking for ways to make it all work ??
Hi @delucks – an update went out a few hours ago that should resolve this issue. Please let us know if you continue to have any problems.
We are definitely sorry for the trouble you experienced!
Hi @delucks – thank you for sharing this issue. This release did get extensive testing with over a dozen of the most-used themes. We are looking into the issue you’ve reported and will try and push a fix as quickly as possible.
Are you able to share the name of the theme you are using on your site?

Hi @reyerm – thanks for asking!
No need to put in the feature request. We’ve taken note and this is already on the roadmap. Realistically, we are shooting for early 2023 as we have a few projects ahead in the list. But we want to provide different customizable notifications that you can schedule and automate ??

In reply to: [Sensei LMS Course Progress] Learning ModeHello! A course progress bar is built into Learning Mode, so you won’t need the additional extension ??
Hi there!
Unfortunately, Sensei really is designed for logged in users and having logged in users is required for tracking progress.
The closest alternative, we are actually using on a demo course that you can see here:
https://senseilms.com/lesson/overview/
We’ve used CSS to hide the progress tracking and used the Site Editor to remove the ‘Lesson complete’ buttons. Now, anyone visiting the link can use the Previous and Next buttons to navigate the course. It is just important to note that progress isn’t tracked and you can’t use quizzes.
That being said, we are working on a way in Sensei Pro that you can add individual quiz questions anywhere in a lesson. These won’t be tracked if logged out, but will allow you to add some questions and provide feedback if the user gets the question correct or not. Hope this helps ??
Hi @ms416 – understood and much appreciated! Best of luck with your online courses ??
Hi @ms416 – I know it has been a while since you left this review. First, we definitely appreciate the feedback. The good news is that there has been a large renewed focus on Sensei LMS since your review. We have a large team working on it and there have been quite a few improvements and new features so far this year (with more to come).
If you happen to still be looking for an online course solution, I believe this issue shouldn’t continue to be a problem, but if so, we’d be happy to take a closer look. Thanks again!
Hi there, we have been following up these issues by email. Please respond to the latest emails if the problem continues. Thank you!
Hello!
There is not a setting for this at this time. The only thing I can think of would to be to use a plugin like https://automatorwp.com/add-ons/sensei-lms/ which has a trigger for new registered users in WordPress and then an integration to add that user to a Sensei course.
The only other option is to mark the setting in Sensei so that any logged in user can view course content. They will still see the buttons to ‘take course’ when trying to start a quiz and at the top of all lessons. This isn’t as automated or as nice as what you are looking for, but may be a workaround.
Hopefully one of these options will work for you ??
Hi all, apologies for the trouble and thank you for reporting the issue!
We believe we have determined the cause and we are testing a fix for it now. We hope to have it released by the end of the week – very shortly ??
We’ll up this thread here once resolved.

In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Accessibility of SenseiHi @wpgabri, Accessibility is important to us at Sensei LMS as well.
You are correct, the accessibility of Sensei courses depends on the WordPress theme you are using. If you do happen to find an accessibility concern when using Sensei, please let us know and we’ll do our best to take care of it quickly.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] remove take this courseThe ‘Take This Course’ button block can be deleted from the course overview page. ??
To do this, go to the page where you see the button that you want to remove, click on ‘Edit’ in the top admin bar, and then delete the button.

In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Quiz havocHi @hliljegren – apologies that we are just now replying. This definitely isn’t something that should be happening? Did you ever manage to get it sorted? Or is there still something that we can help with?
Hi Luca, sorry about missing that question. There is not currently a way to have multiple quizzes in one lesson. We are working on a way to put individual quiz questions anywhere in a lesson, those questions just won’t be tied to a quiz that is gradable. We will investigate the possibility of adding more than one quiz to a lesson as well.
