I use a child theme. I add the code in the costomizer in the child theme and it works, but adding it in de style.css in the child theme doesnt work. I don’t understand this, when I look at the order you mention.

Solved, I saw the answer a few posts below; its in the customizer, header, logo

I like this plugin and use it on (almost) every post. However, it doesn’t have to load on the homepage. Teucrium writes in the above quetion: “I know that I can exclude those pages listing them inside the settings or directly inside the page itself, which is fine if I only want to exclude the homepage or a landing page…”.

My question is, how do I exclude the homepage since it doesn’t have a ID?

I do use a plugin to optimize: Autoptimize

When I disable it, the error is gone (!), the warning still exists. So maybe that’s something you could take a look at for your next version? I’ll contact the Autoptimize author.

Ignore is by far the easiest option, and if solving it is to hard, I will.
Disabeling lazyload is not an option, since thats why I use this plugin in the first place.
I will look for the older post about adjusting the code.

Thanks for your reply; I was very busy, so didn’t have time to work on this.

Now I do… I do see the alt tag in de media library but when I open a webpage and “viw source” the alt tag is empty. So I looked in the database with phpmyadmin, but can’t find a “alt tag” (or simulair) column. Can you tell me where to look / what to look for in phpmyadmin?!

I do use a CDN, but its a other subdomain of my own domain (“static” in stead of “www”)

The funny thing is that when I disable all plugins and switch tot default theme, it still happens, so I conclude it’s not a theme- or plugin relatied problem, is it?

As I mentioned before, this happens with all plugins disabled. And, when I look at the html output (view source) of the webpage, I see alt””, so an empty alt tag, while there is an alt tag in the library. So it’s not a plugin issue but something with wordpress… Isn’t it?

With the featured images it seems te work, but for most images in albums (I have a album on every post) it doens’t.

When you open the first post (https://www.basenmandy.nl/zweden-2019/) en check the html output, you’ll see a alt tag for the featured image and a alt tag for the first image in the album, but an empty alt tag for the other images in the album, though al images do have a alt tag in media in wordpress.

The same for the second post (https://www.basenmandy.nl/florida-2018/) etc.
(sorry I dont know how to upload a screenshot in the forum, hope, above link en tekst will work for you). And, thanks for looking into this!

Yaost warns me that only X of Y images have a alt tag en when I check the html output like you did, I see that most / almost all images have an empty alt tag. The first image does have a alt tag however…
