In reply to: [Big Breeze] Header errorYour warning is coming from a plugin called real-cookie-banner. You should check line 412 of that plugin, or contact the plugin’s author. If you have any future issues, the fastest way to contact me is through the Big Breeze forum.

In reply to: [Big Bob] speed?Hi Abdallah,
Thanks for bringing up your concern. As you probably already know, there are a huge list of factors that influence website download speed (caching, web host, plugins, etc.), but you are correct that the Big Bob theme is not the fastest theme in www.ads-software.com repository. It does rely on a large js file and fair sized css file which may make it somewhat slower than its competitors. However, since images and videos are such a big component of the Big Bob theme, the factor that is most likely to overwhelm any page you might build are image and video file sizes. Obviously, the ability to use images and videos is a big attraction of the Big Bob theme, but you definitely want to use the smallest video and image files you can find to get the job done. I would also recommend a caching plugin if you’re not using one. You might want to check out this article on caching I wrote.
Also, when I look at the link to the webpage you provided, even after you reduced your image and video file sizes, I think you could increase your speed even further by reducing the number of posts you have on the page and switching to excerpt mode. It looks like you have some plugins too, so I’m not sure how those are affecting speed. You might want to try switching them on and off to see if speed improves.
Hopefully, these methods will help you get your site to a manageable download speed. If you have any other concerns, then please let me know.
Thanks again for your feedback,
Bob- This reply was modified 3 years, 10 months ago by bwilson753.

In reply to: [Big Bob] Text size of main navigationSorry I’m just getting back to your support request. The answer to your question is yes. Version 2.2.2 added several new navbar options, including the ability to change the size of menu items.

In reply to: [Big Bob] Simple yet near perfectI just added a .pot file to version 1.9.1. It is in the languages folder. Thanks again for your feedback.

In reply to: [Big Bob] Simple yet near perfectThanks so much for your review. I haven’t had a chance to develop a .pot file or a .po file yet, but I’m hoping to find the time to improve the theme’s translation readiness in the future.
