In reply to: Multi Site Newsletter Recommendation Please? Each site is on it’s own seperate install/WP codebase at the moment. At some point in the future, if the network of sites succeeds, we may bring them into a single multi-site environment, but for now they are completely distinct.

I ran it against a test site and it seems ok. Just going through the motions now with the live site… fingers crossed…

In reply to: Date and Time Format Question…Thank you. That did the trick.
As a suggestion, perhaps the Codex could be updated to include that extra info?

In reply to: Upgraded to 2.6.1, better blogroll plugin no longer works, memory errorYup. Did that.
However since then it appears there may have been an issue at the webserver end of things, because I also contacted my hoster and they confirmed there were some ‘problems’. Once sorted I accessed my DB again, ran a “REPAIR” to be on the safe side and then everything was working fine after that.
No idea what caused it in the first place though.

In reply to: Re-Add Insert Image buttonI’ve just upgraded and discovered that my favourite ‘insert image’ button no longer exists.
It’s a real pain in the ass; so please add the button back into the toolbar for those of us who want to continue to use it. Thanks.

Why can’t you just use feedburner? I’m doing it at my site https://www.avalon5.com and it works fine.

In reply to: Changing width of category widget dropdown?I’m testing the new theme/layout at the following location:-
https://www.rdconcepts.com/av5
If you look at the sidebar you will note it’s split into 3 sections, and in one of those I currently have a sidebar category dropdown widget activated, but it’s too wide for the theme sidebar area.
All help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

In reply to: SQL Statement help re categoriesI’ve come across a plugin (Batch Category Edit) which goes some way towards helping this situation, but it’s not perfect. I’d much prefer to just blitz the DB with some sql statements if possible rather than navigating through the screen by screen plugin version.
SQL genius required? ??

In reply to: Changing width of category widget dropdown?Folks,
Any thoughts? I’ve searched for solutions to this but so far – nada ??
All I’m trying to do is get the widget to fit into my sidebar by reducing the width of the drop down box, but I don’t know where to do this.
I found it, eventually.
If you hover the mouse over the name of the category it displays the id in the link text of the browser window.
