Thanks for the replies. I’ll check out this Vesuvius theme and see what it’s like. Thing is – I was quite fond of the ‘headspace’ theme.. oh well, change is constant I guess.

Perhaps not- but a lot of us WP users use adsense code on our sites, and when I couldn’t get it working initially it was a post here (on the WP support forums) that sorted it out so it made sense to come back to the ‘well of knowledge’ here and ask. At least it made sense to me ??

wow – I picked up those three books in a 3 for 2 type deal. The ‘curious incident’ book I’d heard “of” but not “about” – if you get my drift. The other two were actually direct choices. “Howl at the moon” is the crazy accounts of the ex president of CBS records during his ‘hay days’ when most of the time he was on a drug and booze fuelled self destruction path, whilst running a business – sounds like a hoot!. As for “Cloud Atlas” – I’d seen a lot of good reviews but more importantly it proports to be a highly original (knits together sci-fi, political thriller and historical pastiche) book.

Oh well – I will just have to wait on the result of the vote tomorrow and see where it leads.

Thanks folks… I reckon I’ll let the vote run for 24 hours or so and then start reading the winner. Damn I love this blogging thing:)

Fishcakes correctly pointed out that the survey assumed that all geeks were male; a mistake on my part. It’s just that I’ve never encountered a female of the species “Geeko Sapiens” before ??

I went with the following combo and it does the job…

Ok – I did as suggested above – but I still end up with one image on top of the other instead of two images side by side. Please check bottom of sidebar on my page https://www.avalon5.com to see what I mean.

Any suggestions how I can get these two images/links to line up in the center on the same horizontal line?

Also – I’ve tried that (as suggested above) and managed to get both images displayed, but they are on different lines, and also aligned to the right. I’m trying to get them on the same line, and aligned in the center. Any suggestions?
