Fuzzy – I don’t understand your comment. What images?

btw – I’m not trying to a smartass here, I’m just new to all of this so I was wondering if you could elaborate please? I don’t have any bullet images in the sidebar as far as I know.

Please please pretty please? This must be possible. How do I get this plugin to output within the theme / template?

I’ve been going slowly insane trying to figure this out.

Thank you for the feedback – it’s much appreciated:)

The header is only temporary at the mo. I’m working on something new but being no Photoshop expert it’s a bit trial and error at the mo. Still looking to see if I can improve the overall look n feel – so any other suggestions will also be very welcome.

Anyone got a suggestion for this?

Through trial and error I’ve discovered that my site displays perfectly when I don’t use the Get-Recent-Comments plugin, but as soon as I include the code for this plugin in my side bar it screws up the bottom of the page. I don’t really understand why since there is loads of empty space left in the sidebar after the comments piece, and even more so when I exclude it.

Thanks for your suggestion above, but I’m thinking since it works fine without the recent comments maybe I need to look at the way the this plugin does things.

I’m relatively new around here myself, but have been playing with the CSS files a lot in the last week or so.

Depending on which theme you are using this may vary, but basically you need to find the section in Index.php which processes your content, and determine which “Class” its using. Then find that class in the CSS sheet and away you go.

For example, with my theme the post titles are using a class of “post” and H2 as headers. Therefore in the CSS sheet I look for “H2” and “.post” in the CSS sheet and make the necessary changes.

I’m sure someone far more qualified can give a more detailed answer, but that’s my trial and error way; hope it’s useful.

Me too. I applied the fix for the login/logout issue and it work ed fine, but my theme switcher plugin still refuses to work as advertised.

Anyone else got suggestions on this? I really like the look of the dropdown theme box so I’d hate to have to ditch it because it doesn’t work.

OK – theme is almost perfect. It’s widended but for some reason I can’t get the footer to play ball. There is a ‘gap’ at the bottom of the page between the index / sidebar and the footer. I’ve tried playing around in the CSS file but I can’t track it down.

If you have time please browse to https://www.avalon5.com/blog and see what you think. Perhaps you could suggest where I should be looking to fix this ‘gap’? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the help. I’m almost done with this. I have updated all the background images to the right width, and all the text areas look ok.

The only outstanding thing now is to figure out why the footer won’t align up with everything else. Gawd I feel stupid today:)

    Oops – ignore the above:)

I just realised its part of the header image!!!!

thank you… so simple in the end:)

That takes care of the background colour.. now I dont suppose you can help me with the navigation menu under the header image? How do I widen that?
Thanks again – I really do appreciate the help. I’m making the changes as I write so you should see the diff if you browse to the site.

Has anyone got some ideas for me here?

I noticed that even though I select a different theme, the screen refreshes but it still has the default theme (as in the one which was active at the time)

For reference my blog site is https://www.avalon5.com/blog

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the pointer to the right file…. any chance you could tell me what code I need to change as well? I know it’s cheeky to ask, but I’m new to all this and still struggle with HTML at times, let alone PHP. Thanks in advance.
