Thanks a lot – this was causing a crash in Safari when a large number of players (approximately 20+) were present on one page.
I’ve written a short article on the crash with your instructions – I really appreciate your sharing this information. Here’s the link:

In reply to: Domain Mapping MediaTemple DVMy bad.. this actually wasn’t that hard. I initially tried to create an alias under siteB to siteB.siteA.com and I was confused.
The solution is to remove the domain from your hosting (in my case, I deleted siteB.com). After you do this, you are able to create an alias under siteA.com for siteB.com.
Note: if you’re like me and you were already hosting siteB.com on your mediatemple dv, then you’ll need to first remove siteB.com from your hosting – otherwise you won’t be allowed to create the alias under siteA.com.

In reply to: Domain Mapping MediaTemple DVCould you please elaborate? I have the exact same problem on mediatemple dv.
To clarify:
-I have a primary multisite hosted on my mediatemple dv ‘siteA.com’
-I have a secondary site ‘siteB.com’ that I want to map to siteA.comHere’s what I’ve accomplished so far:
-siteA.com is working, subdomains are working, I can create new blogs
-I’ve made a subdomain siteB.siteA.com, I have accessed the siteB subdomain backend, and mapped it to siteB.com as its primary domainWhen I try to access siteB.com now I just get its httpdocs directory, not the siteB.siteA.com blog

In reply to: “Schedule Missed” IssueFernandot’s solution solved my problem.
My issue was definitely caused by a recent move from a shared hosting service (mediatemple gs) to a self-managed vps (mediatemple dv).
Thanks for posting this.
