Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Entire page gone – replaced with "?????e??"Well, that was simple. I tried switching themes, and twenty sixteen worked perfectly, so I guess it’s a theme issue. XD
Thank you. ??
Hi Keating!
Thank you for your response! ??
Yes, I am using Firefox, and no, I’m not using Cloudflare. ?? lol
Someone on the main WP support forums said that it’s an issue with my theme (and an issue which is shared with my other theme from the same creators), so I’m looking into that now.
Hopefully I’ll be able to solve that soon! ??
Thank you again!
Awesome! ^_^
Thanks for all of your help! ??
Oh, that is so weird!
The theme has always shown the updated images when I look at them directly through the media area and picture-input area on each page, just not on the site itself.
I’ll have to go talk to Themify, I guess. Thanks for the information! ??
Just in case you might know, can I manually delete what’s in the cache folder and cause it to replace the images and then run per usual? I’ve never had this problem with the theme before.
And if not, do you think that disabling the img.php script and then re-enabling it would help?
I’m sorry to ask, but I always have trouble getting help on their forums, because I have an under construction plug-in for the site (it can’t be open to Google yet), and they can’t get past it, so the conversation always ends with “please send me a link to your site so that I can look”. XD lol
Thanks!
Here is one of them:
I think it’s crazy long, because it’s been inserted into the Themify (theme creator’s) builder, but the other page that I’m having issues with isn’t using the builder. ??
I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but does this tell me where the cache is that I can empty? I’m not a web designer by any means, so I’m not really sure what to do with this (or how to empty the cache once I find it). XD
I’m sorry for the trouble!
Hi Keith!
Thank you for your response! ??
I’ll deactivate w3tc on both accounts until they are 100% ready. Thanks for letting me know! ??
In the meantime, I’ve deleted all caches in w3tc, and that didn’t help, so do you have any idea where the cache might be? And if not, should I just replace the images and wait for a few days until the cache (wherever it is) expires, and then continue as normal? ??
Thank you so much for the help! ??
