In reply to: [Hestia] Does the video header autoplay on Safari in Hestia Pro?Thank you so much for the response!! And so if you go to the website I have linked – would be able to have it in the background just like I have it on that page? I imagine the answer would be yes – but having the bonus of it working in safari too.

In reply to: Getting a video to autoplay on SafariThank you for the reply! That looks like it could work!! Do you happen to know if it autoplays on Safari (specifically PC, don’t need it to on mobile)?

In reply to: [Hestia] Video Header / Banner@danamv I ended up using .body background-color to fill in the grey area with black. If possible I’d really love to have the video take up that top menu area instead of the black. Is there any way to do that?
Here are screenshots of the grey area:

I’d really like to have the video fill that black space at the top. How would I go about doing that?

In reply to: Video Header not always autoplaying@bcworkz I put it back to having it play a video hosted on the site vs YouTube which works though I’m still curious about the YouTube issue.
What I was doing was clearing my cache and then opening up Google Chrome and then typing in the address. I think it consistently wouldn’t play the first time.
So hitting F5 or highlighting the link and hitting enter to reload it’d work about 50% of the time.
Currently now I just have to figure out how to get rid of that ugly grey and/or move the video “up” to fill that space.
I can always put the site back to the “YouTube video version” if you are curious to test.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Hestia] Video Header / Banner@danamv I ended up just downloading the youtube version of the video and putting that on the site and it plays every time. However there is an ugly grey area that shows up on PC. I have to remove the header from the “big title section” or it replaces the video.
I’d love to have the video actually take up that grey area, especially where the menu is possible.
Thank you for your help!

In reply to: Video Header not always autoplaying@bcworkz thank you so much. I ended up downloading the youtube video version of the video and putting that on instead of linking to YouTube. It seems to work fine except an ugly grey above and below it.
I’ll put back the YouTube version for testing. I am curious why it messed up. One weird thing is if I “reload” the site it is maybe around a 50% chance for it to work or not work. However if I click the site title at the top the video works every time.
So right now I have it back to the YouTube version if you’d be willing to check it again. Thank you so much!

In reply to: [Hestia] Video Header / Banner@danamv I got the video to display and sometimes it autoplays and sometimes it doesn’t. Any idea what could be happening?

In reply to: WP CLI Search-Replace Wildcard UsageThank you so much!! I was going crazy trying to find some good examples from the WP CLI documentation but I didn’t realize that it is using (I’m strongly assuming) php syntax.
I can’t thank you enough, this helps a ton!
-MikeUnfortunately I don’t have a recent clean database backup. I did do a clean wordpress install for the sites so hopefully there are no infected files. I am trying to use wp cli but I’m having trouble with the wildcard. This is what I have to far.
wp search-replace ‘<noindex><script id=”wpinfo-pst1″*</script></noindex>’ ” wp_posts wp_options –dry-run
Thank you so much for your time!!

In reply to: Suggestions for SandboxGameMaker.com Appreciated!! :DThat’s super weird that it said domain for sale, that’s been my site and domain for many years now, maybe it was a host error? I’ll have to look into that because that is not of course what I want people to see when they go to the site. I wonder if it could have said that because I was updating to 3.7.1 today and maybe it was perfect wrong timing? hmm.
Thanks for the tips and for the feedback and for answering my contact message, I was really confused haha. Take care and have a good day ??
