In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] After upgrade to WP 6.3, no Specific FieldsPlugin updated. It worked at first but has gone back to being fidgety, sometimes working, sometimes not.
The new thing is: when the listing is updated prior to verifying, the category and item specifics remove themselves and only eBay Motors shows up ….

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] After upgrade to WP 6.3, no Specific FieldsGreat to hear it is actively being looked into. It was actually back up and working yesterday, albeit a little different but good enough. ??

In reply to: [WP-Lister Lite for eBay] After upgrade to WP 6.3, no Specific FieldsNot to steal the OPs thread but specifically the Item Specifics load with the little twirly, then disappear. It doesn’t appear to be a browser or plugin conflict issue.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Premium TablePress 2.0?Good Morning,
That is thrilling to hear – If it can read CSV files uploaded to mySQL through myPHP that’s what we are looking for – this would have added security and can take on a heftier load.
Does this mean it will be able to pull extremely large files and cross-query between tables? And any ideas around pricing for this feature?re 2.0: We’ve downloaded 2.0 and aren’t seeing much of a difference (visually). My best guess is this is due to our old theme which utilizes the classic editor (which we prefer anyway). We’re fine with the shortcodes as long as they continue to be supported. We look forward to learning more.
Kind Regards,
CallardHello,
Thanks for your quick response, it has saved me from going through all the tables twice! removing the
f
from thedom
is perfect. I have to sit down with that Dom link and really go through and see whats in there! Very streamlined.Kind Regards,
CallardHello Tobias,
Sorry for any hassles. Just adding that sometimes quirks can works for the better – with the sort turned off, the column-filter search has now been moved to the header using the method as outlined here:
[table id=123 datatables_columnfilter="{sPlaceHolder:'head:after'}" /]
Tablepress is amazing.
Kind Regards,
Callard`Hi Tobias,
Of course, that’s what that button does, sorry for asking, should have been able to figure that one out myself; will switch them off for now. Hopefully the sort will randomly start working again one of these days. I’m fairly certain it used to work so its something I’ve gone and done somewhere recently no doubt.
Kindest Regards,
CallardHello Tobias,
Thank you for taking a gander, it is very quirky.
A couple different variations of:
"columDefs": [ { "type": "string", "targets": [ 0 ] } ]
we’re tried but all with no difference in sort function for the date column. After re-searching the forums there were a couple other variations of date/date-eu/import as csv etc. that were tried for column 1 as well and nothing seemed to take.
As its kind of some places and not others, we also tried to see if it was some conflict with column-filter or filter-widgets etc but turning those on or off didn’t seem to affect anything either.
If it isn’t resolved, is there a way to turn the sort-by-pressing-the-header feature off entirely for effected tables only? That way folks don’t accidentally reorder the dates when reordering another column?

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Alphabet Search & Filter WidgetsGood Morning Tobias,
Very cool, as always your fix works like a charm. And thank you for the Dom link, I’m not exactly sure whats going on there but I’ll have a look for the future.
With the alphabet search, is there a way to have it sort from the second column? Our table makes more sense with the first column as a Hierarchical category and then the Alphabet from the 2nd column, as it has the most variation. It’s been switched for now but it would make the most sense if it can be arranged accordingly.
Kindest Regards,
CallardTobias, Nice colour selection! Worked perfectly, now… to update the tables to match the new filter options! Thank you so much, Tablepress is a miracle plugin and the support is unparalleled.
Kind Regards,
CallardHello,
Thank you once again for taking the time help sort out some details. The fix to reposition the filters works very well!custom command:
"dom": "flWrtip"
and custom CSS:
.column-filter-widgets { float: left; }
Is it possible to alter the text colour to be more readable, the column filter at the bottom and column filter widget aside rather bland into the background atm and are difficult to notice. I did find another post that attempted this but unfortunately the fix provided there did not work. My css skills are outdated and out of practice and their attempts have provided some variably ineffective results, heh.
Kind Regards and all the Best,

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Column Width not showing as SetHello Tobias,
All good now.
My apology for the response delay, I took a short break with content as the theme I had been using was causing difficulties in a few areas.
Thank you kindly. TablePress works as expected and exceeds expectations.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Column Width not showing as SetHello Tobias,
My sincere apology, I had not noticed your reply. Thank you as always for the helpful and informative support.
This is unfortunate news but toggles felt too good to be true in the first place.
I had another issue. While doing a website reboot the row filtering URL parameter is no longer working. Both GET parameter and Row Filtering extensions are installed and activated.
The page queried has only one table but when, “?table_filter=filterword”, is added to the URL it returns the full table. The filter works within the shortcode, filter=”myfilterword”, for both hidden and visible columns so I’m not sure where it’s askew. Any ideas?
