I have been checking the Github issue (since this feature is still not available). MohammedKaludi commented 16 days ago that “It’s ready to merge”. I don’t have an idea what the actuel status is. Do you have an idea when this feature will be included in a plugin update?

I guess it has something to do with the ‘Not ready to push’ comment here: https://github.com/ahmedkaludi/accelerated-mobile-pages/issues/3444

Any idea when this feature will be released?

First of all you decide which type of posts/pages should be converted to AMP pages (this can be done by visiting AMP > Settings > General > AMP Support in your WP dashboard). In my example I chose to generate posts and tag pages. If you have Google Search Console connected to your website you will see how many of your AMP pages are indexed. It can take some time before they show up in Search Console, so please be patient.

Google will not flag your AMP pages as duplicated content because of this line of code within your AMP page:

<link rel="canonical" href="url-of-original-post-or-page" />

This tells Google what the original URL is of your content. Google decides wether to serve your mobile friendly page or your AMP page. If your AMP page doesn’t show any errors there is a big chance your AMP page will be served to a mobile user.

1) No need for a workaround code, I will wait for the update ??

2) Will this be included in the next update which you will release by the end of next week? If so, I will wait for the update so I don’t need to install another plugin.

1) Adding a video in this theme, to a post, can be done by changing the post type in the post itself (on the right). After selecting ‘Video’ there is an element created where you can add the YouTube URL (on the same post edit page). However, you need to make sure the video element is selected at the screen options (on top of the post edit page).

2) I’m currently running version 5.2.6 of Authentic theme.

Fixed. If anyone has exactly the same problem, change your website URL and add www. in front of it. This fixed my problem.
