Hi, thanks for following up and apologies for the delay in getting back to you! We set up a matching configuration and were able to replicate the issue as per your screen demo and we determined this is caused by the plugin currently only supporting base tax rates.

Support for location base rates and reduced rates is a feature we have been working on in the premium version of the plugin (https://woocommerce.com/products/admin-order-modifier/) for a while and due to an increase in requests for this feature, we are aiming to include this support in the next release of the premium version. If you are interested in this, please let us know and we can then update this thread as soon as the next release of the premium version is available.

Unfortunately, due to some of the complexities involved in the additional rate fetching and calculation this is not a feature that is currently on the roadmap for the free version of the plugin.

Hi thanks so much for your efforts with the translations. I am sorry that we did not know that you had already finalised your translation, we unfortunately did not get any notifications. For the translations to be approved, the WordPress Polyglot team will need to review and approve them. As plugin authors, we have sent them an official request to allow you be an approved translator for the FR version of the plugin and will let you know as soon as the translation has been reviewed and approved.

We have released this fix as part of version 1.0.8 of the. RD Order Modifier for WooCommerce plugin. Please let us know if the issue is fixed for you or not. Hi there, thank you for the additional info and the screenshot, from your other thread I do just want to confirm that you are experiencing this issue of the free version and not the premium version of the plugin as changes to one may not necessarily translate to the other. If you are using the premium version and experiencing this issue, please submit a support ticket from your premium WooCommerce support portal here (https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/). In the meantime we will investigate and run tests on the free version to see if we can replicate the issue you are facing.

Hi there, thank you for the additional info, deselecting the “Enable for zero tax items” checkbox should be the method to follow but the fact that it is not working means there could be something unique in your setup or it could possibly be a plugin conflict. Hi, thanks for your query! The order modifier plugin aims to be price agnostic, in that it doesn’t care where pricing is set or comes from, e.g. product pricing, sale pricing or in this case, role based pricing. It only looks at the line item pricing of the order in question. The issue you are experiencing seems more likely to be a problem of plugin compatibility and something in the way the custom pricing is applied could be conflicting with the way our plugin works.

We would like to solve this if we can because it’s likely that other users using the same plugin are affected as well. If possible would you be willing to share a link to the plugin you are using to set up the custom user roles and pricing tables as well as screenshot of a dummy product with multiple pricing applied and allow us a few days to investigate and look for a fix for this on our end?

Thanks for your feedback and apologies for any confusion caused but when we say our plugin “skips” tax exempt products we mean it skips the automatic tax calculation portion. You absolutely can still edit the unit cost and apply discounts as per base WooCommerce functionality and the total calculation includes the tax exempt products, you can see examples below:

With regard to your query, this plugin is designed to assist with stores that only have taxable products, and the function only works with product line items (not custom fees or shipping).

We have however developed a premium version which does support the skipping of products that have a tax status of “none” or a 0% tax and it also works with both custom fees and shipping items.
