In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Annoying Forced JTC LiteYep, that’s the point itself. Everything requires a bit of effort. There is no other possible solution to that but having a look at what is causing the problem.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Annoying Forced JTC LiteI’m a website editor and writer, and in my modest opinion, BPS pro is insuperable.
It’s true that it sometimes requires a little attention, but pros are always higher than cons by far.I’ve been using it for some years and I’m very pleased about the results. However, I can understand that for some people, especially for those who (like in my case) write texts day after day and, at the same time, technically control the site, it could be annoying the fact of having to disable any part of this or another plugin because that performance is not needed for the web. (although, as in this case, the procedure for disabling JTC lasts only a few seconds)
Things similar to that has also happened to my website in a very few times during these years, but I think that in WordPress, like any other CMS, Murphys’s law that says “Anything that can go wrong anytime will go wrong” could be applicable, and if we also take into account that a lot of webmasters (me too) are testing different new plugins once in a while, issues like @pattaya_web describes are perfectly possible. Anyway, if anybody analyzes them, they are not massive issues but very particular ones, perfectly possible, by other hand, because one website always is different to any other.
After all the above, I have to say that I totally trust in BPS and its excellent tech support.

In reply to: [WP Minify Fix] PHP Error log@nodecode Until now, waiting for your addon in spite of everything)))
Ignore negative reviews. Let them not knock you out of the way and do not discourage the desire to continue to be engaged in your hobby.
In earlier versions, it had tremendous functionality.
So watching your response to feedback (indicating the absence of your indifference), I hope to see a new version of your plugin.I hope this review cheer you in the development, and give patience will finish the job sometime))) Thanks NodeCode!!!

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Block some spidersThe Email Log & then delete log file was chosen but emails didn’t arrive.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Block some spidersOK; now this kind of entries have stopped for the moment so I’m going to check why I’m not receiving the Email alerts when the log files are deleted. It could be probably a plugin compatibility problem.
Thanks for your responses.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Block some spidersOn the other hand Bing search engine is properly indexing my posts

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Block some spidersThe only added code I can see is written like this:
——————————————————-
# REQUEST METHODS FILTERED
# This filter is for blocking junk bots and spam bots from making a HEAD request, but may also block some
# HEAD request from bots that you want to allow in certains cases. This is not a security filter and is just
# a nuisance filter. This filter will not block any important bots like the google bot. If you want to allow
# all bots to make a HEAD request then remove HEAD from the Request Method filter.
# The TRACE, DELETE, TRACK and DEBUG request methods should never be allowed against your website.
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_METHOD} ^(TRACE|DELETE|TRACK|DEBUG) [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ – [F,L]
——————————————–
There’s also added code into the ‘Custom code brute force page protection” box
# BRUTE FORCE LOGIN PAGE PROTECTION
# Protects the Login page from SpamBots & Proxies
# that use Server Protocol HTTP/1.0 or a blank User Agent
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^(/wp-login\.php|.*wp-login\.php.*)$
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} HTTP/1\.0$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PROTOCOL} HTTP/1\.0$
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ – [F,L]Forum: Plugins
