We are just wondering why you are using Elementor? Elementor is not necessary to make the blog layout.

If you check all the theme demos, https://fairy.candidthemes.com/ all of them are default and no any plugin is necessary. But if you want to keep using Elementor, then let us know, we will provide the custom CSS to change the color of the text.

If the categories are empty, it means if none of the posts are assigned in that category, it will not be visible in the dropdown. Thus, if you have to show the categories, atleast one post should be assigned for that category.

We have solved the design issue and uploaded the new version of the theme. However the design doesn’t meet your requirement to make the page same as that of 404 error page without sidebar. So if you want that design please contact us on https://www.candidthemes.com/support-tickets/.

We will ask the development team to provide us the child theme with the updated design for no search result found page.

Changing number of posts in the carousel and increase more than 5 is not available in the free theme and you need to customize the theme code if you need.

To create and edit the social menu, please do the following things,
– Go to Appearance > Customize > Menus and create a Menu name Social.
– Social Menu will appeared on top of side or you can use social widget for sidebar.
– Add the link for social Menu(Use Custom Link to create this menu)
– In custom link, add link for Facebook Menu(www.facebook.com/username)
– Add the menu and follow the same steps for twitter, Instagram.
– Select the Social Menu for this.

If preview is fine, Click on Save & Publish to save the changes.

We use font awesome icon in the theme and the list you provided above is not available in the list of font awesome icon. However, if you purchase the pro version and provide the icons we can add that icon for you specially.

If you add the complete links of the popular social media, it will work for you. We see in your site it is working fine. But, we haven’t added non-popular social media icons in the theme. If you provide the list of the icons that you want to add, we can add those in the coming updates.

If you mean the settings for the category boxes under slider then, we checked the settings under Appearance > Customize > Fairy Theme Options > Category Boxes Options and that is working fine. Would you please check the setting once and click Publish and refresh the site once? If it still doesn’t work can you please send us your website url so that we can check it.

If you mean to hide the category inside the post article, then please add this CSS codes on Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS,
.home .category-label-group {
display: none;
}

But, we have this option to show/hide categories inside article in the pro version with more other added features. You can check it out on https://www.candidthemes.com/themes/elf-pro/.
