Sorted – thanks Craig. I built the theme but I used a bootstrap bare bones theme as a starting point. There were a few scripts in the functions.php which I didn’t recognise as something I needed so removed them and all now works.

Is there any news regarding a fix for this?

Just a quick update, I have tried pulling in the instagram feed temporarily on the site that works and it shows the feed successfully so the problem must be something to do with a conflict on the site rather than with Instagram.

At first I thought it only happened with non logged in users but actually it’s just intermittent. Hoping for a resolution on this…

Hi thanks for your reply and help in this matter. It wasn’t sending out a reminder when I clicked that button even when I did it for a live membership transaction and had actually paid ￡10. In the end I generated registration completion links for all 70 members and sent them out individually. Only took about 45 minutes to do so not a big problem.

Yes looked at that but doesn’t touch on it. Let me clarify what I’m doing and we’ll see if I’ve misunderstood it or there might be a better way.

I have a spreadsheet with 70 people’s details on it. There are no user names or passwords for these people but just the basics such as first name / last name / email address etc. So how can I add their details easily and send them out a confirmation email for them to complete registration and add those details themselves?

I noticed when you look utdb_swpm_members_tbl in phpMyAdmin and look at a member who has paid through the paypal link but not yet completed registration that this table row holds basic information about that person. So I thought I could import my users info into this table in phpmyadmin. Test runs have been very successful importing as a csv file (although I’ve had to manually add info to various columns such as add a code in the reg code fields – 206de945f6a3e91fc8fe2ba643c2122f which isn’t a problem).

I thought at this stage I could then go into WP Simple Membership > settings > tools and use the facility there to send out confirmation links to the users to get them to complete their registration by ensuring “For All Incomplete Registrations ” is ticked and “Send Registration Reminder Email Too” is ticked but no email is sent.

All other emails are sent and referring to the debug file as you suggested shows that emails have been sent for other events but not for this particular one.

Is there a better way?

I do use SMTP only on my server but have that set up correctly and all other aspects of sending out email through this plugin work with no problems.

So just to clarify. Basically clicking the “Send Registration Reminder Email Too” box doesn’t send an email to the recipient and whatever I have tried doesn’t rectify it. There is just no email being generated.

I have set up an account in Live mode and followed the steps and everything works fine until I try and send a reminder email. No email is received. What else can I do?

After more investigation my server techs have got it completely wrong. I am rejecting blacklisted mail but it’s not coming from this. Sorry for the red herring! That cost me about a day’s progress. There is no log for when I send a reminder email, so nothing is getting sent. I’ll try a test account in live mode…

The recipients IP address isn’t blacklisted but just checking with server techs…
