What’s the advantage of ensuring your plugins are set to auto update?

It would seem to me the prudent thing to do would be to set aside a time once a month to update plugins, etc so that when something goes ‘bump’, you’ve got time already set aside to deal with it…

Actually it does. I joined those two Facebook groups, and I got to thinking about how to approach a solution when I perusing the posts on one of the groups (can’t remember which), and it dawned on me that some custom CSS could do the trick.

It’s more to do with automating the physical back-end of their operations. The baker would come up to the office to pick up her daily ‘to do’ list, which would be the past 24 hours of orders.

The report would need to contain product quantities and relative variables (example: the product: cannoli, has variations of shell flavors and filling flavors).

They’re not Amazon, but they’re larger than a Mom and Pop. It needs to be something that lays out what needs to be shipped, because having to click into the order to manually create a task list for the various parties that need to prep the order isn’t going to cut it.

    Thank you!

The report would need to list each product purchased (variations in said products as well).

Do you recommend any ‘all in one’ reporting plugins/extensions?

Stepping back, they need a production report, but I know they’re going to need for varied sales reports to be emailed out of the site monthly, etc.

    I appreciate your help

I simultaneously had a request in with WooForce when I put that error message up. I had let them know their user acct info was still active, but they were using a different set of credentials that were associated with my client’s UPS logon.

I updated the ticket, spelling out their U/N & P/W..

Frankly, I posted the message here to ‘make sure this mic was on’.

    It’s throwing a warning message

    Thank you!

Do you have any associated documentation with it addressing the added features?

Example: my client’s printer uses EPL format. Is the EPL format compatible with using the ‘Display Label in Browser’ option?

I got excited for a second hoping it was them letting me know the plugin’s update was ready. I’m waiting, too!

    Thread Starter cantonjester

    (@cantonjester)

Well, what do you do when the image constantly prints upside down on the label? The printer itself prints disclaimer information on the label, so the plugin has to send the data ‘right side up’. I’ve been trying to get this answer from you for several days via your help system. I get a response once a day that dances around this topic.

    Are you using WooCommerce?

If so, there are some free shipping plugins that will allow you to create a shipping class to match the products that get free shipping.

The things to look out for is that the product’s existence in the cart doesn’t override the other products’ need for shipping rates.

Either way, I’m pretty sure this plugin does not account for free shipping natively.

    I’ve evaluated the following:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-advanced-free-shipping/

    and also this one:

What I found out from UPS is that thermal printers do not print in PNG format – they must be converted in some way to a common thermal file types, (EPL/ZPL, etc).

It was related to the WP 4.5 upgrade and (presumably) failing jQuery plugin code that conflicted with the page loading properly.

The theme developer updated the theme, and it appears to have been fixed.

Could this be why the WooCommerce variable products are no longer displaying the ‘Add to Cart’ button on my client’s site?

When I load a variable product page, it’s throwing an error when I view it in Safari / Web Inspector:

    Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: .mobile_menu > ul > li.has_sub > span.mobile_arrow, .mobile_menu > ul > li.has_sub > h3, .mobile_menu > ul > li.has_sub > a[href*=#]

I can’t help but think this may be related, though admittedly I’m viewing this not on a mobile device as the error being thrown would imply.

The ‘Enable Delivery Date’ is checked, and the field is not appearing in the checkout page.

I emailed the issue to “tychesoftwares dot uservoice dot com”, via Contact Support email link.
