    Sure I have edited the review. Hope you’re happy with the update.
    Slightly disappointed my host have not picked up on the error you pointed out.
    As you can tell I am a complete novice.

    I look forward to hearing from you about the testing and after how you have dealt with this I will be trying the plugin again once you e got back to be about version 8.

    here is the log. This is the error from the time my website went down, only getting it back when disabling the GoCardless plugin.
    WooCommerce was not deleted rather disappeared. When trying to reactivate WooCommerce it was nowhere to be found in the Plugins from the WPadmin.
    I was unable to install woocommerce due to a message- Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

    this morning i have accessed the files via Filezilla, i went in and found the woocommerce file. i had to rename the file and then install a new woocommerce file. i now have everything back.

    My host have told me not to reactivate this GoCardless Plugin and i should delete it altogether?
    as i said at first i was extremely impressed with your plug in.

    @ironprogrammer i was not able to get it fixed however when updating to 6.1.1 it fixed the error for me.

    @macmanx thanks for this info.
    I will look into doing what you suggested when I have time to solve anything that may go wrong in the process.
    In the meantime I need to hide the error messages from my website. Since this is being displayed I’m loosing a lot of potential sales.

    I have looked around and saw that I can set WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY to false and expect PHP messages to *never* display on-screen to visitors?

    Is there any risk in doing this? I only feel comfortable adding to css I’ve never gone much further than this before.

    Hello Niklas,
    I have an update for you….
    So I went ahead and played around on my other website, there are no other plugins. The same error started happening.
    I then played around with different settings in the Woo Discount Rule plugin. I believe I have a solution to this issue!
    I have tried this solution on both of my websites an I am delighted to confirm…. ALL IS WORKING AS EXPECTED!

    So what I have found-
    In the Woo Discount Rule plug in when creating a discount you have two options, one is to display the discount as a coupon in the basket, or it can just change the product price.
    If you have the checkbox ticked “Show discount in cart as coupon instead of changing the product price ?” – The PayPal plugin error occurs.

    If you ensure than all discounts created with this plugin are changing the product price and not showing in the basket as a coupon this error does not happen.

    This may also explain your thoughts regarding this happening to some and not others, i believe all users who use this plug in will get this error if they have the box ticked to show as a coupon. You may be able to recreate this issue now too.

    I also have MyRewards Plugin, which adds a rewards based discount to the basket at the customers wish. This to my knowledge has not caused the same error, the only orders to my knowledge with the error contain a multibuy deal using this Woo Discount Rules.

    I have another website which I am currently setting up. I do not have any discount add on purely the WooCommerce coupons. This second website is yet to launch.
    I’m thinking this second website may be the easiest and best place to test this.
    I have done 3 consecutive transactions with WooCommerce and PayPal Payments.
    Shall I install the Woo Discount rules on this second website to see if the same error comes up? This is the current site info for this second site:

    Yes we use Woo Discount Rules. Today we have found every order with an automatic discount has generated this error. All orders without this specific discount have worked successfully. I actually came across an email reply which found its way into my junk folder,
    The email said-
    I have spoken with our developers and this issue will likely be addressed shortly after 1.7.0 update that is currently getting finished and will be tested in the next 2 weeks.
    we currently do not have the fix available for you when using this plugin. I will link the bug that we have open to this ticket, so you will be made aware once it is available for you.

    As Woo Discount Rule’s is a commonly used plug in on my site (i have several offers relating to qty discounts) i have had to deactivate this plug in. in the meantime I have now been able to re-activate the old plug in PayPal Standard.

    hi thanks for your reply. it is not the emails being sent that is going to spam.
    it is when the user is entering their email into the Lucky Wheel to make a spin they are being told they can not use that email address as it is marked as spam.

    So i went through and checked through your steps and nothing has worked.

    I no longer have access to any Jetpack blocks at all, in fact the blocks available to me are now very limited.

    Hi @erania-pinnera The problem i now have is that i have no jetpack blocks available at all.
    So when i removed the block i could not re add it.
    Throughout the entire site not just the one page. i have lost access to all blocks associated to Jetpack.
    On any page where i already had Jetpack blocks active, i have a message to say i can remove the block entirely but i can not edit, add or do anything relating to any jetpack block.

    i have two websites. both identical (just different brands). the problem only with one Cantraig.co.uk
