In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Update errorI am having a different error with the Events Calendar plug-in.
About four hours ago, I saw an update to the plug-in was available and installed it.
It appeared to successfully install, but (a) all of my events are now missing; (b) the plug-in no longer appears as an installed plug-in on the Plug-Ins page; (c) when I attempt to reinstall the Events Calendar plug-in (https://capic.net/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?s=calendar+events&tab=search&type=term) it fails, and I receive the following message: “Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”
No error message appeared. The events are simply gone.
Thanks in advance for your help in fixing this problem — without losing my existing events.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Replaced File Not Displaying Right AwayJan,
Thanks for the suggestion, but it is not working for me. The document is still not being replaced with the updated one.
I have also found that deleting the original document/media file and then uploading a new one with the same name doesn’t work. It re-finds the deleted document.
I have had to upload a new document with a new name and update all links and references, which is exactly what this plug-in was meant to make unnecessary.
If anyone has additional suggestions, I’d appreciate them.
Again, thanks for the suggestion, Jan.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Replaced File Not Displaying Right AwayI am having a similar problem with PDF’s. I don’t know if it is an issue for images, too.
I am running WordPress 4.6.
This problem makes managing our website very difficult.
Thanks in advance for help.
