In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] I can't get it to work…Hi Jay,
Sorry you are experiencing that. This is most probably because 3rd party cookies are disabled in your browser. We are working on triggering an alert in this specific case, which lets users know what the problem is and how they can fix it.
Can you please enable third party cookies in your browser? And let us know if the issue is fixed.
Thank you!
Hello,
I’m not sure I understand. Activating an account does not require you providing an email address.
Or maybe you are trying to move your site from one location to another?
Can you please send us a screenshot or screencast of the issue? You can do it here or at [email protected], wherever you are more comfortable.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Unable to add shortcodeHey there,
Glad you like the plugin and thanks for your kind words! ??
We have just tested the shortcode and it seems to work well. Would you mind setting up a test account for us on your website so we can have a closer look? You can send the data to [email protected]. This would work the fastest.
Alternatively, we would need you to tell us your WP version and WP theme, and to record a screencast of you trying to publish the form using the shortcode.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Edit an option?Hi Les,
Labeling the button “Edit Notification” was not intentional and is not some new wave approach, as far as we know ?? We will change it to “Save Notification”, because that is really the action that the user takes at that point, as you mentioned.
Thank you for pointing this out!

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Paid PluginThanks, guys, for your good thoughts!
The directions in which we develop both the technical side and the marketing side of CaptainForm are based on user feedback, as you are the ones who make use of the plugin and can give the most objective and relevant opinions.
The plan descriptions will be added at the next plugin update. And the steps indicated by Les for editing reviews are correct.
Best regards,

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Remove logoHello,
The first URL that you work on when activating the plugin is the one that gets saved. When you move the site to a different URL (e.g. when you work locally and then upload the site at its live URL), the URL is not recognized anymore.
In order to make it work, please:
– Send us your Support Key (access the site where it was first developed, go to the My Account section of the CaptainForm plugin and retrieve your Support Key from there).
– Send us the URL where you want to have the live site and we’ll replace it for you.Send these at [email protected] and we’ll replace the URL as soon as possible. Thanks!

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Where does the form go?Hello,
There are various options for configuring the recipients of form submissions. In the Settings -> Notifications section, you can set one or more email addresses to be the recipients.
Besides multiple recipients, you can also add custom recipients. This means that a specific email address will receive submissions only if a condition is met (if the form visitor answers in a certain way).
There are many other options in the Notifications section. Have a look and let us know if you need more details about any of them.
Submissions can also be found in the Submissions section (each form has a separate one).
Best regards,

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Remove logoHello,
This sounds like a strange behavior that definitely should not occur. The backlink should be placed at the bottom of the form, not of the screen. About the form fields, is it possible that you enabled the “Hidden” option in the Form Editor or used conditional logic to show/hide form fields?
Would you be so kind to send us the link to your page at [email protected]? We’ll be more than happy to assist you.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Paid PluginHello,
Thank you for your message! We’ll introduce a short description of each service plan on the main page of the plugin.
There are already references to the paid plans in our plugin information (e.g. all 6 FAQs refer to upgrading or downgrading the plugin) and the service plans are described on the front page of our website, captainform.com. We also do provide a free plan, that is perfectly functional, but without advanced functionality, like payment integration.
We’re sorry about the two-star review, but thanks for your feedback!
Best regards,

In reply to: [Forms by CaptainForm - Form Builder for WordPress] Remove logoHello,
When you embed the form in a page or post, the logo at the top is removed automatically, unless you specify otherwise from the Themes Settings, where you can also replace our logo with your own logo. This can be done on the Always Free plan.
If you are referring to our small logo from the bottom of the form, that one is part of our backlink, which needs to be included on the Free plan, but is removed automatically on any paid plan (first paid plan is $35/year).
Best regards and we’re here for any further info.
