It works with most themes but sometimes themes do strange things. But anyway, you’re right and it does look quite bad! I definitely don’t want that.

My docs got a bit messed up recently, just fixed it now.

What’s the shortcode you’re using now?

You’d want to use something like:

[recipe id="58"]

The ID is the ID of the recipe that you can see under Recipe Hero > Recipes next to the recipe you want to insert.

Hmm, there are a couple ways. You could use a Custom Role Editor plugin to allow users the capability of ‘edit_posts’, but they’ll be able to add normal posts too. (This is a limitation of WordPress).

However, there is an extension available for this if you want, that builds a front-end submission form for Recipe Hero with other features too – https://recipehero.in/extensions/submit/ (here’s a coupon code – TASTYXMAS – for a bit of a discount ;))

Can you please try deactivate the other recipe plugins besides for Recipe Hero and see if it fixes it?

For the first part, I’d suggest making the main recipe image a little bit bigger. I’m going to work on removing the clickable area if it doesn’t stretch the whole way but in general, I think bigger is better ??

Hmm, good question! I’ll chat with James about this (Storefront creator) and see what I can do, whether it’s something that needs to change in Recipe Hero or Storefront Designer.

Both will be addressed in the next update. ??
