Just thought I would let you all know I tried reaching out to the developer through their chat on their website. Unfortunately based on that conversation, they have no real sense of urgency with non paying pee ons like us……. SO I guess we get what we pay for here. They did say someone will at least acknowledge this issue…. but I am not personally holding my breath on this one after that conversation and seeing how little the chat rep really cared.

I tested this in my staging environment and it has fixed the issue. I am not sure if I should use the beta version on the live site?
When do you plan to roll this out as an actual update?

Thank you for your reply and looking into this. I do not use that Divi enhancement plugin. But, I do use several other Divi enhancements that it did not occur to me to test for conflicts with those plugin because when this issue occurred, it happened after updating your plugin and pointed to Divi being an issue in some way.
So, I did more troubleshooting and did discover that there is a conflict with your plugin and Divi Plus.
So I will reach out to their support. However, considering the issue arose after updating your plugin, it would seem the conflict started there. So with knowing what the conflict is now, if your developer could look into this further to see if it a solution that must occur on your end or there end I would appreciate it.

Is it possible my issue I reported 2 days ago is related to this as it sounds familiar. For me as explained in my post, the recent update is causing an issue when trying to create just a basic new post or even have the ability to change the slug. Only after disabling the plugin will things work properly.

Hello, thank you for the quick fix, but are you going to roll out a real fix for this in your next update. It’s great there is a manual fix as you suggested after upgrading, but your not considering those of us that have hundreds of websites to manage. It is going to be a huge hassle to manually go in and “toggle” something off to fix an update you rolled out.
A quick update here for anyone else that falls on this post and does not have a backup to restore from.

This link to the article above explains how to retrieve and download the last stable version which you then use the plugin uploader in WordPress to replace like you would to install any other plugin. When you upload it WordPress will recognize that you are trying to upload and older version and asks you if you want to replace the new version with the old one you just uploaded. It is a good idea to back a backup of your site and database before doing anything by the way.
After I did these steps, Divi is no longer broken.
AIOSEO developers and support Admin, can you please give us an update on when you have addressed and fixed this issue. Hopefully in your next update release.
I am glad I am not the only one having this issue. I too am experiencing this. The Divi Builder becomes broken when enabled and I must disable this plugin to make edits now.

I have a staging site that I tried all your suggestions on.
I disabled all plugins as suggested, I also tried switching to a default theme with all plugins deactivated. I then tried another browser in private/incognito mode and ran the inspector and am not getting any script errors to provide you screenshots.
But the issue still persists. Any thoughts on what else I can try next?

I have the same question, I am unsure if I should update to version 4.6 for this reason.
I would like to add more to this as i start trying to update other sites that it appears the “trick” i mentioned above to get the widget to show up and stay enabled is not working at all on a specific site (https://cervus.global) The site is added to my account, I have installed the latest version. But can not enable it on the back end to have it show up on the front end?

When I update the plugin to the latest Version 2.3.3 the widget disappears on the front end and when you try to toggle the widget on it is not retained as others have reported in another thread.
What I found worked for me was deactivating and and completely deleteing the plugin, then installing and activating it. Then when I went back to the uswerway settings and toggled it on it worked.
However, could you please address this Usewrway, I have many sites that use your plugin and it will suck to have to do this process to each one.

I was using a 404 redirect to homepage plugin that I suspect was partly causing the issue. So I guess I will need to set up a custom 404 page instead, When I deactivated that I would get a message in the AIOSEO plugin that said my .htaccess file was not set up properly. So I did what you suggested and saved the permalinks again and that seems to have resolved all the issue. Thank you for your quick response and your time.
