Maybe this could be a future feature…
Thank you for your quick reply!Hi,
thanks for your quick reply. The user is displayed in dashboard–>users when he had filled in the registration-form before. But when someone books an event as a guest (who has never registered) and only fills in the booking-form that is displayed on the page of an event next to the login-form (which is here to remind registered users to log in before), this guest user is not displayed in dashboard –> users. We searched for the data but could not find the place where the data is stored. What might be the problem? :-/
Thanks again!
Great, thanks a lot! Your first suggestion worked for me. But I had to place the word nickname instead of username. So again: Thanks for your help!
Thanks for your help! I used #attendees with the new code and it worked ??
For me one problem remains: In the past I was able to display the nickname instead of the full name. This is necessary, beacause some of the attendees do not want do be seen with their full name. What can I do to make this work again? It works now. Thanks a lot for your advice!
Hi!
Thanks for your reply. I try to explain what I mean.
The plugin events manager offers the possibility to use placeholders. I use the placeholder #attendeeslist so all the people joining one event are displayed publicly in order to encourage others to join. Besides I use Ultimate Member, that offers the registration form for the website. People can enter their first name, their last name and choose a user name (screenshot 1).So when I use the placeholder #attendeeslist (in this case it is the page that offers an overview of all future events; I also use the placeholder on each single event page), first name and last name are displayed (screenshot 2). I guess, the data come from the registration form of UM, don’t they? So my goal is that is displays the entered user name (not the first name and surname). This would offer more privacy to the displayed users.
I am not sure if this is an UM-issues or an event manager-one…

In reply to: Events Manager #ATTENDEESLIST: how to display the user name?Isn’t there anyone who can help? :-/
Some users already said now that they don’t want to appear with their full name. Only with their user name. And I have no idea what I could do. Is it maybe an ultimate member setting issue (of course I tried to find something here also but wasn’t successfull)?
