Thank you for getting back to me. As per the video, I created a new folder cold mytwelvetwenty and created a new style.css with the text below. However, the style of twentytwelve did not transfer. And idea why?

I may need to rephrase my query. I want to keep the border after each post but the border overlap on the left side bar. How can I make the border stay only in the main column?
