I dont understand why wont you reply when is something related to taxonomies and filtering… The function is there when you edit a post, but is not when creating a new post. I would love to be able to filter which categories the user can use. Please advise.

@tedtang I did ended up using this plugin (Meta Field Block) when I had the issue. Works pretty well… I just wanted a solution without a plugin. Yours looks interesting… not sure how it works.

This is great! Especially when you want to show posts in a loop in the homepage. Question… Is it possible to limit just for logged_in users? The way I would do it is to show the like icon with the count, but once clicked and not_logged_in, replace the icon with a login link to let them know an account is required. I know this is more of an enhancement to the actual plugin, but I figured I would ask.

I think this is the best I can do to show what I mean. How can I change the text “Example” with “View” for all the posts in a loop.

Sorry it is working and the rel attribute changed, but I think I was not clear with my issue. I want to change what comes after the word “Example” with “View”.

rel=”View”>Example</a>

The value that shows up in the front-end is actually the end of the URL. I would like to keep the hyperlink, but change the word to say “View”.

Is not working. Which fields do I need to change with the field name?

I was looking at the ACF card, but is not what I’m looking for. I still want to use the default query loop and still be able to display the fields for each post. Is there a way of doing this with code? Thank you.
