Mamp is good… other servers like NGINX or IIS can have subtle differences in the way they process GET and POST variables. As a matter a fact I tried to migrate an Audobar site to NGINX once but had the same problem as you are having right now.

Any other plugins installed than Audiobar?

What is the local URL you are using? (e.g. https://127.0.0.1/my/awesome/site)

Are you certain that the wordpress site url is pointing to that URL? (check admin panel configuration)

Sounds like the iframe wrapper is not being loaded.

The first thing to try is switch to Twenty Eleven, delete your browser cache, and re-load. If you have any cache plugins installed, de-activate them first.

What did you do?

What page did you do it on?

What happened?

What should have happened?

That would explain it… most links inside your theme files (like home.php or page.php) are not recognized.

The link needs to be on the front page (or post), inserted with the wordpress editor.

You can, however, use template code to hide the links if you wish.

MySQL 5.4 apparently dropped a long-deprecated feature I didn’t know about.

Please update to Audiobar 1.0.3, de-activate, and re-activate again, and it should work. This update also fixes a glitch with SEO content.

jroakes, if you’re still there, which chrome version are you using? Works for me.

The going dead after a couple of seconds usually happens when no song is getting loaded, so it probably means Audiobar is not recognizing the songs on your front page.

no problem! Actually, there was a bug in the settings that made changing the colors less convenient than it should be. It appeared (embarressingly) in 1.0.0 and is fixed as of 1.0.2.

Hey Katy,

thanks for using Audiobar!

I suspect this might be normal behavior… right now, Audiobar is programmed to play each song one after another when the play button in the bar is clicked.

When the play button next to each song is clicked, that song is played.

Let me know if that solves it.

With theme pages, do you mean WordPress pages as opposed to blog posts? Those should work, on single site installs.
