If I request a crawl instead of waiting for it, how long should I wait to see if Google has updated my new description?

I was afraid to hear that, as I was kind of expecting it. However, Google’s choice for the meta description is actually not a good choice. The one I wrote better serves the user and better describes the content of my article.

If it’s not a problem with the plugin, is there anything else that I can do to force Google to pick up my description? Also, after I change my description I should request a new crawl, correct? Is this the right way to do it?

I am using W3 Total Cache, which minifies HTML, CSS and JS (same as Autoptimize). I understand that running the two plugins together causes problems, that’s why I only have W3 Total Cache activated.

If I understand you correctly, are you saying that I can run Autoptimize together with W3 Total Cache and make AsyncJS work?

I actually gave it a try a while ago but had to deactivate it because it gave me problems.

So in summary, AsyncJS won’t work if I have another plugin that is not Autoptimize minifying my JS, right?

Thanks for the fast response. What do you recommend then to minify all my JS but also defer the script? Obviously, I don’t want to only defer the script and not be able to minify the rest of my JS.

Yes, please tell your team to pay attention to the emails. SO MUCH TIME is wasted going back and forth because they do not read carefully when I raise an issue.
