Hi again @missveronicatv, yes, asking them was the first thing I did, they say everything is OK, and they also say that they can not fix the email issue since they don′t know where to even start looking for. Like they tried to see if there was any issue on email configuration with the UM plug in, but there are no configuration options from the frontend of the plug in, that is why we are stucked.

About emails modifications, yes, I did some small modifications in the emails text, for example in the account activation email. I can still see that modification on WPadmin/UM/settings/email if I open the email template.

Does this information give you any clue about what might be the existing issue? Would it help if I unistall UM plug in and install it again? Will it get configured anew on the installation process? Thanks a lot again.

So, I created the child theme some months ago, and it had been working fine until this wordpress update. I don′t know if the hosting people could have somehow lost some of the folders on the update? I know that they moved my site from a “hosting controlled plan to a self controlled hosting plan” and something went worng on the process so theorically they reverted it to the original controlled by them hosting plan. Sorry if I am not making myself very clear, I am having trouble grasping some of this concepts.

Anyways, I have also tried with the 2020 theme and the 2023 theme and still not working. Maybe reinsatlling the UM pluging will be able to create this folders anew? Thanks a lot again for your answer!

Hi again @missveronicatv, so first of all, no emails are been logged, so it is very clear UM mails are not going through. Then I spoke with my hosting provider and the email server seems fine. There is nothing they can do since I can not configure anything about the emails been sent from the UM plugin. I tried to follow step 2 but it doesn′t make any sense it only says you use sendgrid, so… don′t really know what to do with that info. Also poitns to another article that talks about a third plugin that I installed but it is also doing nothing. Don′t know what to do with WP Mail SMTP by WPForms – The Most Popular SMTP and Email Log Plugin, but the question stand still, why was this working before and now it is not working. Just want it to be the way it was before. Are there any configuration options that can be configured from the inside of UM pluging that I am not seeing?
I am really frustrated cause the whole website is pointless now if UM is unable to send any messages to my users… please help. So many hours of work lost here trying to figure out what is happepning…

Sorry I think I am not getting it… I used the plugin to send a test email to my email account, but it did not arrive, so I just assumed emails are not working. I am not really understanding the thing about the plugin not logging UM emails… could you please explain this? Also, any ideas on how to resolve the problem of UM not sending emails before I can move to point 2, since what is really crucial for me is for UM to be able again to send emails to my users as it was before. I don′t really know what and why just got broken. Thank u very much again for your time and patiente.

Thank you very much. Very weirdly, the second time I did it, one of the plugins seemed to be causing the problem. Don′t know why it didn′t fix the issue at first time and also, when I reactivate the plugin to confirm it was this, the error kept not appearing. So apparently it was deactivating and activating it again what fixed it. Thank you!

Hello @rosbiffer, @threadi my name is carlos and I would really appreciate your help. I am having the same issue, update to wordpress 6.1 and now all pages except the main are giving 404 error. Unfortunatly I don′t know even close as you guys of IT (I have just created a free non profite site). My site is swapmyvan.com

The problem I have is that I can not reverse to the previous wordpress version, since every time I do it, the people from the hosting automatically update it to the 6.1 (I restore the backup, works fine, then they update to 6.1, everything down again) I am trying they to stop updating but they say they can′t I they need me to migrate to another kinf?d of self maintained hosting service, but when I tell them to do it, they are not able for some reason. I have been waiting for -it support for 3 days already… it is driving me crazy.

To sum up: I do not have this plug in “Smart Custom 404 error page [404page] plugin”, can you think somehow you could help me track down what is causing the problem?? All of my plugins are updated.

Hi @threadi thanks for your answer. So what is happening is that my host provider updated the wordpress version to 6.1 from 6.0.3 and there is something incompatible that Is making all of my pages except the main one give 404 error. (What happened before when you said no page existed is that I was trying to migrate the server with the host, so that I can have wordpress 6.0.3., by they are not been able to migrate my site.

So I would really really appreciate if anyhone have any info on what could be causing this incompatibility with wordpress 6.1, I am totally out of ideas, already checked plugins, I am on a basic 2021 wordpresss theme… I just don′t now…

Hi @nsinelnikov, actually I have Wordfence installed and running, and yet I received this. What is more my whole site fell down for some reason I don′t get and all of the pages except the main are giving 404 error, and I am not sure if this 2 things are related or not…

Unfortunatly what you suggests doesn′t work for a number of reasons:
First, I have a range of much bigger size options for profile photo, starting at 360X360 (I don′t kno why) screenshot attached.

Anyways, applying changes to that does not affect at all to the profile page (the profile photo doesn′t increase or decrease)
I have also tried changing the profile header menu position to left of Icon but to no effect either. I have cleraed cache and updated the page but nothing seems to have any effect.
Do you happen to have any other suggestions? Thanks a lot! Carlos

Hi @missveronicatv, thanks a lot for your answer. I have done some testing and effectively, changing the text single line fields into text areas correctly solve the issu of text space been too small. Yet, that faces me with a bigger problem, I have already 300 users on the website who have filled in text fields, so if I delete those text fields and put text areas intead, all that user profile information will be lost. Can you please tell me how could I do to transpose all that info from the text fields to the text areas, or If I could somehow change the properties from text field to text area. Thank you very much.
