Hi try following!

1. Goto general settings and check “wordpress address url” and “site address url”? this is common error occurs sometimes when we move from directory to another sub-domain to main domain or other way around.

2. Goto permalink and set it to default option and save it, check your website whether error fixed.

3. go to menu list and check out the button url.

4. Sometimes we also fixed by going to to “myphpadmin” home url still pointing to old address.

Most probably it would work. I believe you had set your permalink with “postname” and in case using category, you should be using “category” as well. for instance in custom structure: /%category%/%postname%/so this would give you nice url: https://websitename.com/topic/postname.

That’s very simply, If your are using google chrome, IE, or Firefox, right click on your mouse, your will get “inspect element” a dialbox will open, then point your mouse arrow to particular area, it would give you all the option to that is, both css and html details and file names where you have to change the code. just fiddle around for sometimes you will get an idea!
