Thanks for your answer. I did find this line in the config file. I’m setting it on false on the development website to test but I reckon if it was added, there’s a reason.
I know there is a scheduled CRON on the server. By enabling wp-cron again, could I mess up with something else?

Same, same on the new update. I did exactly the same steps as in my last message and I still got the error.
I don’t think it’s linked but just so you know, I have a warning in the Diagnostics page about the Proxy headerHTTP_X_REAL_IP:A proxy header is defined, which means you may need to configure a proxy header in the advanced settings for location reports to work. If the localization is detected correctly in your reports, you can ignore this warning.
I don’t give up and I’ll try again at the next update ??

I just updated Matomo plugin.
First I couldn’t, gave me an error because of the modified config file.An error occurred while updating Matomo Analytics - Ethical Statistics. Powerful Observations. The update cannot be installed because some files could not be copied. This is usually due to inconsistencies in file permissions. config/config.php
So I put the original file back and the update worked. But the error on the password is still there in the Matomo admin. I tried to re Sync the users but same.
I change the config file with the modified one and it works.

I did the Sync Users but same. I followed the rest of your link and tried to remove the special character from my WP passwoard but I have to keep one, I tried with only a dot but same.
So I changed the config.php file and it works. But I reckon I’ll have to update it each time Matomo has an update?

Sorry for the delay. I did what you suggest, but it’s still asking for my password and saying it’s incorrect. ??It doesn’t ask the password on the first block “Anonymize tracking data” but on the following “Delete old raw data regularly”, “Delete data from old aggregated reports”… (my UI is in French so I’m giving you rough translations ?? )

I’ll mark this subject as resolved but I’ll be glad to know if/when the conflict with the Redirection plugin is fixed. I reckon I’ll follow it on GitHub.

First I looked for wp-config.php in Matomo folder as you said “his” haha! But then I got it was the wp-config.php at the root of our WordPress folder and yeaaaaah it worked!
I added your line, reactivated the Redirection plugin and did a manual archiving. Oooh yeah I have data. Will it do the automatic archiving even with this line of code? (I’ll see it anyway next Monday).
