I would first start with validating your site. It looks like you have problems in lines 131, 144, 206. Hope this helps

I would like to move the login box into the “content” area (from your snapshot). Yes, i am aware of the errors, i will either figure this out or go back to just the login box with some css applied from the blix theme.

Thanks for the info fruitfly. I have moved the theme css into the wp-admin.css (below the #login heading). I have also copied the theme index.php info into the wp-login.php file. I would like to put the login box inside my “content” area. I am not sure what info from the wp-login.php needs to move to inside the “content” area of the same file. Can anyone offer any help? site is https://www.mytimewithgod.net and to view what i have done so far is https://www.mytimewithgod.net/wp-admin
This page has some errors but from viewing it, i think you will see what i am trying to accomplish. Thanks for any help

Downloaded and extracted to wp-content/plugins and admin panel would not load. Also could not get to the website. Deleted the new faq and copied the last one back, now admin panel and web site works. Got these errors:
Warning: main(/srv/www/htdocs//wp-content/plugins/xyooj.com/common.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/faq/faq.php on line 30

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required ‘/srv/www/htdocs//wp-content/plugins/xyooj.com/common.php’ (include_path=’.:’) in /srv/www/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/faq/faq.php on line 30
    Backups are your friend:)

    I like it!! Nice job!

Yes, i “think” my sidebar issues are fixed (altho safari still seems to not like it). Katie1 was a huge help!!
@faithy i am not sure if this will be your problem but mine was code problems (most of them). I can only suggest what Katie1 suggested to me, which was: backup your theme. Then delete it from the wordpress directory (not the backup theme). Download and extract the same untouched theme to your wordpress/themes folder. 1 at a time, install your modifications. After you install 1 mod, goto validator.w3.org and type in your URL. This will validate your markup. If it fails, clean up the failures and validate again. When it passes, install your 2nd mod, goto validator.w3.org and type in your URL. This will validate your markup, and so on.
This community has been a BIG help to me and i thank all of them for their help. There are some great people here that are willing to help! Hope this helps. Oh yea, my header pic was also effecting the page/sidebar. Be sure to make your custom header pic the exact same size as the original one.

I too am having problems with my sidebar shifting to the bottom of the page (only in IE). Like Katie1 says in her post. I wondered if she(katie1)/anyone can take a look at mine (www.mytimewithgod.net) and see what the problem is? To me, it looks like my post text is to wide, therefore pushing the sidebar down. I would be willing to send monies (via paypal or however you like) if you/someone could help me out. Also, can send css sheets, if you like. I tried the above fix from Sam_a (#sidebar, #content { overflow-x: hidden;}) and i don’t have this in my css sheets. Thanks for any help!!

I am agreeing with you. As i now am getting this error after clicking on “validate settings”:
An error occurred while loading https://sitename/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-gallery2/g2admin.php&validate=admin:

Connection to host <sitename> is broken
If i goto https://www.sitename.net/wp-gallery2.php i get this error:
    Fatal Gallery Plug-in error
    Plug-in options not validated
So, it looks like i have not gotten any further than before ??

Is everyone putting their g2data file inside the webserver area? The gallery 2 install says to put it outside of the webserver area but i dont want to do that if this plugin will not work with the g2data folder outside of the webserver area.

gnorb: what version of firefox are you using? All my testers with firefox 1.07 and 1.5 have worked perfectly. Also, testers have confirmed that safari and opera work fine. Posts are not in “frames”, your browser may display them in frames but this site does not use “frames”.
So, to test whether it is a post “width” problem, can someone with IE view the site and see if the sidebar is pushed to the bottom? My other Windoze box has IE and it looks “right” now (both sidebar and spacing of categories in sidebar). Also, i think the post “width” effects the sidebar spacing. Can IE users confirm what they see now that i have deleted all the posts?
