Hello, this might have been solved in an earlier post:
iThemes Secure Site function Disables File Editor

iThemes Security has lumped in several features under “Security Check” with ONE button that secures the site and changes multiple settings with no boxes to check/uncheck any items. It has Disabled the File Editor under “WordPress Tweaks” and there’s no way to disable/uncheck this. Configure Settings only has ONE button to “Secure Site” no button to disable this.. How do I turn this OFF??
Must I disable the plug in completely? This has caused me a lot of trouble.

Found it! Under iThemes Security Settings scroll down to “WordPress Tweaks” then Configure Settings from there and Uncheck Disable File Editor.

In reply to: [Snaps] No portfolio template option for pagesThanks Michael,
This gets me started. The whole portfolio thing seems awkward and not intuitive. I really miss the old NextGen plugin.

Okay… I see the problem I think. I’ve got the links styled with white text! That would make them appear to not be showing up!
Thanks!

In reply to: [Hemingway] Having problems creating a child themeOh and yes, I have the Hemingway theme installed so it should be pulling the css from there. The new Hemingway child theme does load but it doesn’t pull anything from the parent “Hemingway” theme.

In reply to: How to make the colophon 100% of width in Twenty Twelve themeThanks Paul,
The code you supplied Does work. I was having problems getting it adjusted to the wider width that I was using. For now I have gone back to the original width and your code works great.

In reply to: How to make the colophon 100% of width in Twenty Twelve themeYes I am using a child theme. I’m currently trying the method above but so far it’s not working yet.
This is the code I was using in the style.css — it also increases the theme width to 1000px:
/* Increase theme width to 1000px */ footer[role="contentinfo"] { max-width: 1000px; max-width: 71.4285rem; } @media screen and (min-width: 960px) { .site { max-width: 1000px; max-width: 71.4285rem; } } .ie .site { max-width: 1000px; } /* Align footer credits */ @media screen and (min-width: 600px) { .credits { float: right; } } .ie .credits { float: right; }
thanks,

In reply to: How can I prevent an accidental upgrade to WordPress 3.0Thank you, I will look into both suggestions. I just know eventually one of the people who need to have admin access to the site will accidentally hit the upgrade buttons!

In reply to: [Plugin: The Events Calendar] Problem after upgrading to WordPress 3.0Hello sparkyn,
Our site was accidentally auto upgraded to WordPress 3.0 and from what I’m seeing the Events Calendar won’t work. We are interested in reverting back to the older version of WordPress but a little worried about it. Any suggestions on how to do this? Semi new to this.
Thanks,
Carol
