Well, the thing is, it used to work.
but perhaps with the latest update it doesn’t.
Basically, some products ship for free; others don’t.
For the ones that have a shipping cost, shipping is calculated based on their total only, not the total cost of the order.
All of a sudden, this isn’t working.

Hmmm….interesting suggestions and I very much appreciate your taking the time to think about this for me.
The images are pretty small — especially the PNGs.
Per your request, I retried to upload images (one at a time) and only JPEGs and kept them small (about 160 kb).
THe same thing happened:
in the media window, when I’m on the first icon / the List view,
I can see the image thumbnails. If I click on the thumbnail, the image opens up; if I click on the “edit image” button, under the permalink text it says: “Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image.”

So I go back to the media library.
If i click on the second icon in the media library / the icon view, the images are gray icons that look like a document (gray / upper right corner folded down); if I click on -that- icon, there is nothing under the attachment details.

I’ll go back and triple check file size…
