Hi,
Yes, the file is in the root folder of my wordpress install – the install is at cariluna.com/wp, and the xmlrpc file is at cariluna.com/wp/xmlrpc.php It appears to be working correctly. I did re-install WordPress just for good measure and I’m still receiving the error.
yes, I have checked my htaccess file and there are no rules blocking anything.
Bluehost also confirmed that they are not blocking the xml-rpc file. Thanks!

Thank you so much!
I have unfortunately already gone through all of these steps. I sent Bluehost the ips for the the allowlist, and they confirmed that there are no firewalls blocking communication. I have also disabled all plugins and tried to connect with no success. Bluehost is insistent that they are not the issue.
let me know what other steps I can try. Thanks!

In reply to: [Zotpress] no link appearing in DOI’s (apa style)Hi, we are also having this issue. The links appear but they are not clickable. (Here’s an example: https://eportfolio.uga.edu/?s=motivation)
Katie – I’m not sure what you mean by find/replace – can you elaborate on how to fix this? Or has anyone else found a fix for this?
We are running WordPress 4.7.2, Zotpress 6.1.6
Thank you so much!

In reply to: Navigation will not work on blog pageYes! I changed the theme back to the custom theme. I really think this was plugin related, specifically a plug-in that was excluding a category. I’m off to find the right way to exclude a category from the blog posts page ?? thanks for all your help, Esmi, you set me in the right direction to fix this.
Thanks!

In reply to: Navigation will not work on blog pageAlso, can I ask why are keep using rachaelherron.com/blog as opposed to rachaelherron.com/ for the site’s main url?
not sure what you mean by main url? https://rachaelherron.com goes to the home page, that’s a static page that can be changed. the posts show up on https://rachaelherron.com/blog

In reply to: Navigation will not work on blog pageDo you mean now, or when I had the permalinks set to the default structure? It was a 404 for rachaelherron.com/blog, but rachaelherron.com still worked for me when the default permalink structure was on.
https://rachaelherron.com is bringing up the site fine for me now. and the links are working too. I promise the configuration is correct – I have checked it multiple times and it has been working for a long time.

In reply to: Navigation will not work on blog pageCan you tell me what you’re seeing that makes you think there is an issue? I did all of those changes over a year ago and it’s been working fine until this nav issue. I followed the steps on the codex exactly.

In reply to: Navigation will not work on blog pageI followed the instructions here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory under using a pre-existing subdirectory install.
I should add that the site has been running fine for a year or so – the nav issue is a new one.
