I installed the plugin and I put in my G4 analytics code . . . so where do I see the data?

I tired adding the AI plugin but it immediately generated the following error.

I noticed you issued another update.

Still the same for me. Gallery disappears with new version. I rollback and it is all good again . . .

That error has plagued me for a while but has never caused any problems that I am aware of — certainly not with your apps before.

This shit always happens when they update WP.

As I said, I’ve rolled back to the pre 5.0 versions which work fine. As soon as I activate 5.0 or 5.1 all of my galleries disappear.

I’ll try it with my staging site to see if the same thing happens.

The only error I have, which I have had for some time, but the developer wants an exorbitant?amount to fix is shown below.

This relates to the advertising?plugin?that I use, but seems to have no effect other than filling up the log.

Using Classic mode for WP. Currently on PHP 7.4.

I think I’ve got it. If you have the folder (wp-content/upgrade-temp-backup/plugins) open while the simulation is running and do a refresh, you can see the back up. Clicking on it and compressing it as a zip saves the backup. As soon as you do another refresh the plugin disappears but the zip remains. Yes?

I like to keep the previous version of plugins when I update so that if there is a problem I can easily go back. I’m talking about developers who work outside the WP system here. I thought Rollback Update Failure might do this for me by creating a backup using the simulate failure feature as explained. This is my objective.

So, do I still have to specify keywords, excerpts etc? Or does the plug in handle this?

Gotcha. I see one can create a gallery using the classic editor which generates the necessary shortcode with IDs, then just add in the desired layout style and bingo. Thanks.
