Hey guys, so @vhsreptile, I found the class code and modified. I commented out the entire If statement, and it seems to be working and sending out.

I am running in to a bit of an issue with “testing” all of the different types of emails. For example, I want to make sure the “Before Expires” message will be sent out. The original one, “New User” works no problem, but I am running in to having to wait a few days before it expires to actually test the “Before Expiry” one for example, or “After Expires”, etc.

Anyone have a quick fix for testing this code wise? In a log somewhere maybe? The log file @demerit mentioned only shows skipped messages so far.

I would assume if I updated the subscription date to todays’ date on my user, it should send out an email fairly quickly, but looking for an easier way to test this and not overly familiar with the logging in Membership 2.

There is a manually check under Settings “Check Membership Status changes in 2 hrs 54 min. No pending Email Responses found” but not sure if this will help for testing purposes.

Thanks in advance for any help ??

Hey @vhsreptile, sorry I meant to get a closer look at the changes @demerit mentioned a few weeks back.

So you were able to implement? And it seems to be working?

I am looking for the classes in the code and have been unable to find ms-model-communication – maybe not looking in the right place.

Going to continue searching today, but thought I would check where the call is actually made so I am changing the right code.

Is it directly in the membership plugin files? Or in the database directly?

Any extra direction as to where I should make the updates would be appreciated. Thank you to you both!!

Hey @demerit. Thank you so much for the help. I’m going to play around with the code a bit tomorrow and see what I can figure out. I agree it has to do with that function, but like you, I’m not sure what else it affects.
I will report back if I figure anything else in the testing.
    Thank you again!

    @wpmudev-support9

Super disappointed and really there are a ton of us that are obviously having the same issue.

I am with @vhsreptile! I am loosing members, loosing money, etc. and I have been so many hours and so much work in to getting Membership 2 Pro to function the way I need it.

Now to find out at the end of it all that even though it signs people up, emails are not working and therefore really difficult to convert those users to paying members :(.

Super disappointed as I will have to go and support a different plugin.

If anyone does hear anything, or has any potential fixes, please let us know. I will do the same :).

    Thanks!

Demerit, were you able to get anywhere with your MS_Model_Communication?

I have been looking everywhere in terms of where the emails are triggered, and I am having no luck.

I will keep trying to investigate on my end and will let you all know – please let me know if anyone comes across anything.

    Thank you!

Hi Nastia/Aprobaringles, was a solution ever found for “not sending emails” out of Membership 2?

Hi there, we have the same issue of the Membership 2 Automated Email Responses Subscription – Before Expirey Message not being sent.

The Sign Up – User Account Created is being sent successfully. As well as the generic WordPress new user email.

All other emails do not seem to be sending out correctly.

I have also added “Send Copy to Administrator” for all of the different emails (“Completed with Payment, Before Expires, After Expires, etc.) and none of them are getting sent out from the system, nor being emailed to the Administrator.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated? This is a huge issue as this is how users are notified of a trial expiry and they must sign up for a paid membership after expiry or they lose their access to the website.

Any help would be wonderful! Thank you in advance.
