In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Does not work.Not possible to test from that test site because you would have to create several users – admins, contributors, etc. to test the issue.

In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Does not work.The 1-star review that the other person wrote makes perfect sense. Obviously they are having a real issue!! You need to give your users more credit!!

In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Does not work.No, I am NOT the only person this has happened to.
I am not even the first person to write a negative review about the issues. Check your 1-star review from someone who appears to have the same issues.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with my site or server. I am a web developer of over 10 years and an expert web host administrator. I am using the latest up to date version of cpanel and the latest version of Cent OS 6. My server is 100% properly configured. I’ve been using another plugin instead that has no issues. Plus, I installed this on a clean installation when I experienced a problem so there is no plugin conflict.
To reiterate:
If users try to check a box that are not admin, all the checkboxes boxes disappear for everyone. Very odd and poor bug.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Does not work.@bdbrown, it’s not just forum policies it is an ethical issue, but forum policies is FULLY RELEVANT so why don’t you take your off-topic trolling elsewhere.

In reply to: [WP Dashboard Notes] Does not work.You have broken WordPress policies by requesting a login into a WordPress account.
The problem is with YOUR PLUGIN, NOT my server or installation.
I thought so, thanks for confirming that to me, Justin.
WRONG the plugin affected ONLY THE ADMIN AREA and the problem went away immediately after disabling the extension.
No you cannot have a login to my blog. I think that is against WordPress TOS to even ask that!!

In reply to: [Cleverness To-Do List] I want to show completed items with option to hideAlso,
Ability to hide items that are completed in bulk.
For example, the completed items if displayed are adding up making the widget very long. But I don’t want to hide ALL the completed items just some of them.

In reply to: [Cleverness To-Do List] I want to show completed items with option to hideThanks. For now with my hacks I got most of the functionality I need, the most desired added feature would be as follows:
- List which user was the one who Completed the item.
- Automatically Assign item to the user who Completed it.
- Ability to display the user who completed the item next to the item in the dashboard widget.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Cleverness To-Do List] I want to show completed items with option to hideBUG REPORT:
If user is not Admin, such as Contributor, then when they Complete an item it is NOT GLOBAL.
However, if an Admin completes an item, non-admins are UNABLE TO VIEW the Completed item.
UPDATE: This is a not a bug, you must go into settings and user permissions to allow it.

In reply to: [Cleverness To-Do List] I want to show completed items with option to hideUpdate: another hack I did, to prevent non-admins from unselecting checkboxes, was that I created a faux checkbox image in place of the checked box by hiding the checked checkbox using css and then placing a checkbox image in its place.
`#ctdl .todo-checkbox.todo-completed {
/* hide the checkbox so no one can unselect items */
visibility: hidden;
}
#ctdl .todo-item.completed-to-do {
/* create and position a faux checkbox image so it looks selected but can’t be selected */
background: url(https://YOUR-URL-HERE/images/faux-checkbox.jpg) no-repeat 0px 7px;
/* my positioning css I had here may not apply to you, so enter your custom css here to position the checkbox in the correct place. */
}`
