I don’t have the time now to try a vendor/vendor edit, but I tested with a product created by an admin that could be edit by whoever entered the product page.

To reproduce, create a product using a user with an admin role assigned.
For convenience, open the dashboard in another tab and log out. Go back to the previous tab and log into the dashboard (you may see it prompting for you to do that) using a vendor user. You will be prompted to “take control” of that product. Just choose “take control” and you are now able to change whatever feature you want.

You may also log in in the new tab and just click close on the login prompt of the previous tab.

The fix could be that you, being a vendor, are not able to open someone else’s product page page, maybe issuing a 404 or a redirect.

Or maybe this is a core level bug!? I didn’t try to reproduce with regular posts or pages (as the product is just another type of post), but it would be the same.

If you are not able to reproduce, I can record my screen, but I’m leaving now for the holidays and will be back only the 4th.

Hi, John. Thank you for your response. I’m not exactly complaining, but reporting an issue to the developers (the system here is not very featured in that regard). ??

I think it would be too much overhead to completely change to another plugin just because of this small issue right now, although I’m seriously planning to move to a fork that supports adding tabs to custom fields.
