I have my site back up and installed a clean version of jetpack. But I am looking at alternatives due to the javascript/jquery bloat as it does slow down the site.

I have jetpack installed on clients sites also but am noticing a problem with the publicize module on all sites by not sending images to fb. I have advised my clients to put the same image they have within the post as the featured image, and yet it does not get sent to fb. Is there a problem on fb side?

    Thank you for your response

Well I stayed up until 3 am pacific time, and figured this whole thing out. I looked at the error log on my server and found tons of errors with a plugin called, “All-in-one-event-calendar”, when I updated this plugin (wp seo by Yoast), it conflicted with the A-I-O-E calendar. So I renamed the calendar plugin through ftp, and whalla, everything came back.

This plugin (wp seo) brought the other plugin to fruition with its own problems. I and another web design friend found the problem and got it fixed.

I added the php code from github to the proper config file and had to create my error.log file, but I am not getting anything on the error file. nothing is printing.

I don’t know what to do except maybe do a restore of a previous backup

I am running the latest PHP and have no clue with SPL. I don’t understand how to do the above. Am I suppose to copy/paste that onto the wp config file? I have never had to debug a program before.

Everything on my site worked, until I clicked the update wp seo by yoast, once I did that the page was refreshing and went blank. No upper nav bar, no dashboard, nothing on pages called. update-core.php, or plugins.php. All other pages come up correctly. I can’t even de activate any plugins from the plugins.php page for it is blank.

I looked on the error file on the server and see nothing with regards to this plugin. only for my “all-in-one-event-calendar”.
