Thank you songdogtech – that site is extremely useful and I was able to fix all the errors that were showing up.
I still have the same problem with my header though, as far as I can tell it IS a CSS issue but I have no idea what needs to be changed.
Are there any css users here who can see what I need to change in my code? I would be very very veryyyyy appreciative of any help at all…
