Thanks for taking the time to review the plugin. I’m not clear – are you reviewing the free version or the premium version? If it’s the latter, I’m not sure this is the place to post the review.

Regarding the layout, it’s possible to create your own templates or to use the plugin’s versions. And it should be possible to reply to user’s answers – depending on your theme, it’s not something set by the plugin.

I think this is most likely down to your discussion settings in Settings > Discussion or your theme. Please check that comments are enabled first, then try switching theme to see if there’s an issue there.

That sounds like your theme – please try switching temporarily to a default theme like Twenty Twenty and testing. Sometimes, certain themes only allows comments from posts, not from other post types.

No – the plugin doesn’t have that functionality.

Hi

With Discussion Board, you can set the permitted roles for users to post new topics from the front end and for users to view topics. So you could set ‘Editors’ as able to post topics, and ‘Subscribers’ as able to view topics.
