In reply to: [Yoast SEO] some keyboard shortcuts not working in YoastHow do I make a screenshot for that, it is a dynamic process…
Let me explain again:
Normally, I can mark any text by double-clicking it, then click Ctrl-C to copy, then Crtl-V to paste.
But if I try that with any text that is in the SEO title box, the CTR-C shortcut does not copy that text.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Yoast SEO] SEO title default tags still showingI deleted the variable from the Yoast / Settings, see here: https://onlinelotto365.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_page_settings#/post-type/pages, same in the settings for pages.
But whenever I create a new post or page, the variables are still there.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Visual Link Preview] Not responsiveI used the default template, and while the visual links looked ok in PC view, the mobile view was horrible.
Then we cloned and edited the compact view, which made it look a bit better, but it still is not ideal. See here: https://simbalotto.com/play-online/mega-millions/ It is difficult to adapt the templates so that it would look ok in both views. IMO you need to offer an option to edit PC/tablet/mobile layout individually.Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] 503 server error when I update once specific pageAll plugins are updated, and I am using WP 6.6.
Deactivated Yoast and Yoast multilingual, still same error.
I am in contact with WPML, waiting for news from them about deactivationg WPML without data loss, the I will try to deactivate that plugin.
If that has no effect I will try the full troubleshoot mode with the plugin you recommended.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Rebuilding WP as a stating site on different domainthat plugin seems to be just what I need to fix this issue, thank you!
let me try some more on the site I originally bought it for, looks like it is working there, which is the most important for me. I have some 80 english pages and posts on that site which I have to translate to all deepl languages. The plugin will definitely save me some time there.
Btw, a plugin with the same functions but working with Google translator API would be very useful as well. I’d gladly pay for that one.do I have to install the free version first and then install the pro package, or does the pro/bulk package work alone?
On that second site, I uninstalled the pro plugin and installed the free version again. Entered the deepl API, and now the plugin is not working at all. Clicked the translate button, nothing happens.
You have to create the “duplicate” post in the target language, then translate it (whether in the post edit page or from the admin list with the batch extension)
yes that is what I thought. A little more work, but still faster than doing it by hand, so ok.
But like I said, a user manual would be nice. Saves you time doing support as well, I’d think.
Also, keyphrase, meta title, description, slug from Yoast SEO are not translated
Still, the issues on the second site I cannot explain.
On the first site where I tried to install the plugin, I now uninstalled it. Then I also uninstalled a few other plugins to avoid issues.
Then I reinstalled the plugin. Error code shows again, and in settings, the is no reference to the deepl translation plugin showing at all.
I tried to reinstall three times now, the result is always the same.Definitely not intuitive – you should absolutely have at least some basic documentation or manual explaining how the plugin works.
It seems that the only way to do this is:
1. create one translated item per post and language
2. copy original content to the new post
3. repeat for all posts
4. mark the new posts and then translate them in bulk
5. repeat from step 1 for the next postI am not sure if that is just because the plugin does not work well with WPML?
I expected that I would be able to select a batch of posts, select a translation language, click apply and the plugin would then create a WPML translation, with each new post marked with the correct new language and set to be a translation of the specific original english post?On the first site where I installed it, the error code is showing. Settings/Deepl translation/Bulk translate does not exist at all.
I then installed the plugin on another website, and here Settings/Deepl translation/Bulk translate is showing, and I am getting the same error code at the beginning.
When I select pages and posts in the settings, the error code disappears (had to update twice though).
I then ran a test and translated one post. The result is that the existing post is translated, the plugin does not generate a new, translated item of the original. Also, it is not set to be a translation of the English original, so it does not work with the way WPML is set up.Can you email it to my registered email from my buyer acccount?
