  • I have also just noticed this folder fw_files in my WP root directory. There is nothing in this folder, it is empty. Should I delete this folder manually or will the coming update resolve this?

    Thanks @ryanhungate

I checked MailChimp and it is indeed sending abandoned cart emails now – so I think the problem is fixed.

    Hi Ryan

Yes that’s right re the location – only for South African shoppers.

No you don’t need a subscription to buy the product, you can buy it once off or on subscription. This only applies to one product. The price is the same no matter which option you choose, just the frequency of payment (once off, once a month, once every 6 weeks, once every 8 weeks) would change.

I use Woocommerce Subscriptions plus their All Products for Woocommerce Subscriptions which allows you to add subscription options to any regular product.

We do also have wholesale products that are only available to certain roles using the Wholesale Suite by Rymera.

Perhaps this setup is too complex for the abandoned cart to work? If so that’s fine just let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi again Ryan

Here is the details from the log. Apart from the price issue the currency code is also incorrect – this is set in the plugin to be ZAR not USD. The store is also ZAR.

    Dear Ryan

    Thanks for the reply.

I am using v2.4.5 of the plugin.

I have set the level to debug and put something in my cart. I will update when this has triggered the abandoned cart behaviour.

    Thanks

Funny, the support system sent me here.

    Nevermind.

Hi, I use this plugin on multiple client sites – I really fail to understand why you had to change the dropbox folder name, it’s a real pain to have to re-authenticate each site. Also means the old backups now won’t get deleted as part of the process so will have to be removed manually to stop them filling up the space. Not ideal at all guys.
Also, unless you visit this page you have no idea this needs to happen – some sort of notification or headsup on the admin dashboard would have been nice.

    Hi Stephen

Ok further to that I have added the following to the widget template line after more reading here on the forum (and have moved style detail to style.css to make it easier):

    <div class="newsdate"><p class="newsdatepara">%start{j}%</p><p>%start{M}%</p></div><p class="coursedetailpara"><a class="courselink" href="%event_url%">%event_title%</a></p>

This is now almost displaying as I want. Almost.

The unordered list is still there when I look at the page source so it is messing with my layout. What I really would like is to remove this for purposes of the widget – but retain it for the event pages used elsewhere. As the css class for the unordered list is the same for both listings I can’t just edit that.

I tried using a shortcode, but had the same result.

Please advise how I can remove the unordered list from just the class-eo-event-list-widget output.

    Many thanks

    Hi,

I have just added the plugin, and I think it is great, but I would love a widget to go with it that would display a random review on the main page.

    Thank you.
