Hi. I have a similar problem but I’m using the Simply theme. When I list a category my subcategory will go into it , with no problems at all. But when I list a third category or product it shows on my store page as a separate category? It adds the 3rd product or category to 1 & 2 but it also shows. Basically i would like each category to only show once clicked on so when you go to the store you see a main category. you click on that and it opens another category. you click on that and it opens the third.

Hoping that makes sense. I’ve been trying to find a solution for almost a week now, with no luck. Can anyone tell me where I’m going wrong please? Thank you in advance.

Hi. I found a solution to my problem. I uninstalled WP and reinstalled it using BitNami. That worked for me ??

Hi Tara . I get the message that wordpress needs to access my webserver.
hostname – ?
FTP Username?
FTP password?

I’ve uninstalled wordpress and reinstalled using the BitNami module. There seemed to be no option to download WP with development settings or Production settings. I did however, see a WP development plugin? Is that what you’re referring too?

I installed wordpress manually. I tried using MAMP initially but kept experiencing errors so uninstalled it and then downoaded XAMPP.

MarkerMaker. Did you find a solution to your problem. I’m encountering the exact same problem with WP. There seems to be no step by step information to resolve this. Most people here assume that everyone’s a developer and understands syntax. Could someone please explain in plain and simple terms how to find the information we need?? Or at least explain in laymans terms the next few steps we need to take to resolve our issues?
