As for the post editor button.
I’ve been able to remove almost every extraneous button and metabox in the post editor. 2 reasons why it’s clutter for my authors:

1- They have no reason to be adding a mailchimp form to a post submission
2- When they click it, their role restricts adding that anyway, so it goes nowhere

If you’d like to avoid a UI checkbox, can you provide a snippet of code I can place in my functions.php to remove the button from post editor based on role?

If i wasn’t super impressed by the quality of your support before, I was bowled over to see a recent post by a pro subscriber on your website who also reports that the editor is not working in pro — and it has no response.

Your rich text editor is not working in Pro either.

I may need to go pro but…

In free version user can edit means user can edit drafts AND published (which is a terrible oversight of the plugin)

If pro has this corrected, editor has a word count, and the full editor is fully functional, I’m ready to buy.

Stephen, that sounds like an issue to post on the Facebook Thumb Fixer support page.

That would be amazing. If you were able to do for style.css what you’ve done for functions.php, you’d probably single-handedly turn the whole “child theme” idea on it’s head.

Attempt to use another plugin to do the job and yoast won’t stop screaming. a real squeaky wheel.
