The example site above isn’t working right now, here’s a similar example:
Having a similar problem. I set the expiration time on a test post as 00:30, but the actual post shows expiration time as 8:30?
I’m certain my WP / server has the correct time, because when I saved the post, it showed as being saved at the current time.

In reply to: [Plugin: Stray Random Quotes] BackslashesJust posting to confirm that not2bug’s workaround worked for me. THANKS!
Thanks, I’ll give that a shot.
Any idea why the tags are different, depending on if it’s used for the Album or Gallery templates? It’s displaying the same description text, either way…

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Manage Albums > Edit Album gets stuck loadingI have solved this issue by doing the following:
– Updated WP from 2.8.4 to 2.9
– Under Gallery > Setup, I clicked the ‘Reset Settings’ button and then manually entered all my settings back into the options pages.
I did both of these steps together, so I’m not certain which solved the problem, but it was probably resetting the NGG settings.

In reply to: Nextgen Gallery and Multi-Level NavigationIs the gallery absolutely or relatively positioned, or contained in a div that is? You might have to define the z-index of the gallery’s parent div. I had a similar problem with 2 elements that were overlapping in the wrong order; it only worked properly when I gave the parent div a z-index.

In reply to: nextGEN thumbnails without borderYou might have another CSS file that is applying the border to your images. I recommend getting Firebug for Firefox, it is extremely useful to track down exactly what CSS files / declarations are affecting any element of your page.

In reply to: [Plugin: SidePosts Widget] Links don’t work when showing Post ExcerptI came here with the same question. However I’m using normal the_excerpt, not the Sideposts plugin. Is there a simple way to override the standard WP behavior so that links will work in an excerpt? I’m sure WP has their reasons for doing it like this, but it seems that having text in an excerpt that says ‘Click here’ that isn’t actually clickable would confuse the user.

In reply to: Show timed posts before they are published.Watersweb – this looks like a very elegant solution, I’m going to try it out tonight. I like that it doesn’t require a plugin! However, I don’t think the ‘future posts’ he uses for the upcoming events will show in the calendar. Is there some way to force the calendar to display future posts (better yet, specifically future posts from the ‘events’ post category)?
If I can make a page listing upcoming events with Keith’s technique, and have a calendar at the top that highlights / summarizes all the upcoming events, it would be perfect.

In reply to: [Plugin: Event Calendar 3] Is this plugin still in development?I’m using WP 2.8.5 and tried using V 3.1.4 of Event Calendar. If I click on Posts in my Dashboard, wordpress spits out a bunch of PHP errors above the dashboard heading:
(UPDATE) I just tried Event Calendar 3.2.beta2 and got the same PHP errors. Some problem with WP 2.8.5??
Warning: Parameter 1 to ec3_filter_posts_where() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 166 Warning: Parameter 1 to ec3_filter_posts_join() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 166 Warning: Parameter 1 to ec3_filter_posts_groupby() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 166 Warning: Parameter 1 to ec3_filter_posts_fields() expected to be a reference, value given in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\plugin.php on line 166
The same errors show up above my blog’s heading as well, if I try to view any pages. Not sure if this will be of use to anyone – I don’t know PHP at all.
Pretty disappointing, because this sounds like it does exactly what I need! All I really want to do is make future-dated posts (events) that will show on the regular WP calendar. I found a couple simple plugins that allow future-dated posts to show up along with the normal posts, but their dates do *not* appear on the WP calendar. Any suggestions?
Tokonik,
I looked at your site just now and it looks like you’ve got your Thickbox working properly again. What did you have to do to fix it?
Thanks
I am having the same problem; only shutterbox will work. I’ll post here if I find a solution.
