  • Any updates?
I am updating an older website that previously used inline PHP and the app it used is no longer available and the potential replacement EZphp is not longer allowed. I am hoping to set up an in-line php app to continue using the existing code and not have to rebuild pages using snippets.

    And final solution found.
On the Attributes page on WP I changed the name of the TType attribute to Type and left the slug as ttype. I can now import updates as needed.
I just have to remember to add the Attribute to Woo on the live site and edit it before trying to import when I get to that stage.

    Partial solution found.
My CSV file had an attribute name called Type. I changed this to TType and the import worked. It appears that this atttribute name was causing an issue with the slug Type.
So, next issue: my viewers know this attribute as Type, not TType. Any suggestions on how to get past this conflict so that I can use the attribute name “Type”?

I have not found a solution yet.
I did find ways in which I can create a table for each model and then load that table into WP. This works but it prevents some search functions and is a lot of added work. It’s also not as clean in regards to responsive layouts.
I also found a couple of plugins, like Barn2Media’s WooCommerce Product Table. This will allow people to sort and filter. However, it is really intended to run separately from the model page. Thus does not allow for the data charts on the product model page.
I was able to add a lot of custom variable fields to a model and they output in a tab on the model page. However, they output as lists in rows or lists in columns, not as a table.
So I put WooCommerce on hold. Since then I have been considering deleting WooCommerce and either building my own product page templates that include tables or paying a company to perform that design work for us.
It’s really a bummer that I wasn’t able to get Woo to work the way we desired.
If it helps, the goal was to look similar to what we provide in our print catalogs.

And I prefer not to use a size chart as I would then need to hand create a new size chart for every single model that needs to be updated every time we add a new sku. I am hoping to find an enhancement to the grouping capability.

I guess it is time to try some other plug-in as I am not able to get the widget related to this one to work and not one seems able to help, let alone respond. Bummer.

I have the same problem and my account seems to be enabled.

On the Twitter Tools settings page:
Show admin screen for tweets: Yes
    Create URLs for tweets: no
Give Twitter Tools Credit: no – I may change this if I ever get it to work
    Debug logging: Enabled
Accounts:shows my account and the appropriate logo, Enabled is checked
Create blog posts from tweets is not checked (i don’t want this service for now)

    On the Social Settings page:
Accounts:my twitter account is listed, with the logo, and default is checked
Facebook: i did not set this up as I don’t want this yet
Broadcast is on by default: yes
    Post broadcast format: Article just added: {title}: {url}
    Comment broadcast format: {content} {url}
    Advanced Options:
Misc: Disable Socials comment display is checked
Disable Socials broadcasting feature is not checked
Twitter default API account lists my account in the box
Fetch New Comments: Never is selected
    Debug Mode: off is selected

Under the Tweets menu on the left:
Tweets – includes all my current tweets
accounts – shows my account in the top left under popular tags and lists my account in the chart at right. It also includes a plug that is my account with a -2 after.
    Mentions – lists one
    Hashtags – currently empty

    The widget:
    Title: Recent Tweets
Account: lists my account in the box
    How many tweets: 5
    include retweets: no
    include replies: no

The software does allow for tweets to be generated when I write a new post. It appears as though the widget is not working. On the webpage, it shows the title and then lists no tweets available at the moment.

I have tried all kinds of options based on things I have read online. I deleted the widget and added it again. I changed misc options and saved. I just hit resave. Nothing seems to be working.

    Help please…
For reference: promechanics.com and the widget is being used in the footer.

I’d love to help but I don’t have a copy of the theme. Are you running the basic Stars theme or the Premium star theme? If the basic, I’d love to get a copy and then see if I can help out. I tried to download a copy of the basic theme from the designer but they are no longer offering it.

    Sebi23DU,
Can you load a copy of the theme in an FTP space? I have been trying to locate a copy of their basic theme and they aren’t offering it anymore. With a copy I could compare the original and attempt to help as well.
    Thanks.

any news on how to do this yet? I have moved all my files over to an excel file but can’t figure out how to convert this to a usable xml file. I thought this might be the way but it is killing me.

has anyone figured out how to convert xls files to usable RSS or XML files? I have a list of about 250 entries that I want to enter and would prefer not to do this one by one. plus, the dates don’t post corectly when I write them individually as the dates are older posts.

i just found your post and have a question. I am new to WordPress (and blogging) and have a bunch of html files that I converted to an excel file. I can easily modify the file so that it is a text file like the one in your sample.
How did you import this? as RSS Import?
    What is meant by description?
    Thanks.

just wondering if anything was solved as I have numerous html files that I would like loaded as posts in wordpress.

wondering if you found a solution for this yet? I know we can copy and paste but I have a lot of pages and would like to keep the dates intact.
