Definition of $postData in my code looks following:

$postData = array();
$postData['post_title']   = $title;
$postData['post_content'] = $content;
$postData['post_status']  = 'pending';
$postData['post_author']  = $authorID;
$postData['post_type']  = 'link'; // here we add a custom field to array $postData

To achieve such functionality (not incredible, but rather effective way), it’s enough to add adequate field to associative array, that is built at lines 297-302 of file ‘user-submitted-posts.php’. I’m not sure if this solution is always as accurate as in my problem, but for me works perfectly ??
